In the space before, upon a lotus moon, upon the reclining posture of the Lord of Five Faces, the venerable red Manjushri himself, youthful in appearance, red and yellow, youthful and beautiful, two hands teaching the Dharma, with a topknot of hair, holding an utpala flower petal near the ear, seated in vajra posture, adorned with silk hangings, complete with enjoyment, in front on the left, the blue goddess Saraswati, two hands holding a topknot of hair upon a lotus, gracefully smiling in a standing posture, wearing five garments, the lower body wrapped with a jeweled crown, beautiful with jeweled earrings and necklaces, the father and mother smiling with radiant light, following with the joy of compassion, dispelling the darkness of ignorance of the practitioner, thinking of wisdom blazing a hundredfold, upon a self-aware brocade cushion, the great scholar and translator Thonmi, named Sambhota, seated in vajra posture, wearing three Dharma robes on his body, placing a monastic hat upon his head, with two hands in the teaching mudra of meditative equipoise, holding a pen and ink pot, upon a wide, spotless sheet of paper, with clear vowels and consonants, accurately and without error, in the manner of writing as it is, words that inspire the minds of the gods, striving in this prayer. Om Swasti! The treasure of wisdom and compassion, the noble Manjushri, the wish-fulfilling lord of speech, the son of Brahma, Saraswati, the great lord of power, the great deity who embraces both inner and outer, I pray that the appearance of the letters may be beautiful, and that the efforts of Thonmi Sambhota may be meaningful, and that the essential points may be quickly realized as they are. （藏文：唵 阿 囉 巴 札 納 諦，梵文天城体：ओम् अर प च न धीः，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ a ra pa ca na dhīḥ，汉语字面意思：嗡，啊，啦，巴，杂，那，德。） Thus, as a result of praying and supplicating with one-pointedness, all the sins, obscurations, faults, and downfalls that are difficult to purify for many kalpas, just like sunlight striking mist, may they be purified and cleansed in an instant. With wisdom that is supreme, swift, and stable, and a treasure of amazing retention, understanding, and confidence, in all the knowable realms of what exists and how it exists, may the supreme intellect of unobstructed knowledge be accomplished. May the fields of the ten sciences, such as grammar, logic, crafts, medicine, inner science, astrology, poetry, rhetoric, composition, and drama, be blessed to be mastered without error, and the activities of teaching, debating, writing, listening, thinking, and meditating.

萨！日夜不懈精进修，无有妄念邪念极清净，愿能显明诸佛之教法！总而言之，于一切暂时究竟之时，愿文殊怙主父与母您垂念，自他成办，智慧达圆满！此乃数位于法有权者，应请而萨ra哈谛（萨ra哈）所书，为令六聚境相得清净，愿成利益一切之因！ 身语意之造像品质佳妙之祈请文，善哉且具意义。

Sa! Day and night, strive diligently without distraction, without wrong thoughts or misconceptions, with complete purity, may we be able to illuminate the teachings of the Victorious Ones! In short, at all times, temporary and ultimate, may Manjushri, the protector, father and mother, hold us dear, may we accomplish the benefit of self and others, and may wisdom reach its perfection! This was written by Saraha at the request of some who have authority over the Dharma, in order to purify the appearances of the six aggregates. May it become a cause for benefiting all! A prayer for excellent qualities in the form, speech, and mind, well-made, good, and meaningful.
