Actual and mentally created offerings, And the gatherings of offerings conjured by the mind, Body, possessions, and the virtue of the three times, I visualize them as clouds of Samantabhadra's offerings and present them. From beginningless time until now, All the collections of non-virtue and sins that I have accumulated, Especially all the actions that have contradicted your mind, From now on, I confess with intense remorse and vow to refrain. All the pure actions of the victors and their heirs in the ten directions and the assemblies of disciples in the three times, And especially the boundless activities of you, protector, I rejoice with great joy. In order to establish countless beings who are sinking in the unbearable swamp of samsara in the state of buddhahood, I pray that the great feast of the marvelous supreme vehicle May be bestowed continuously and without interruption. Although the Dharmakaya has no increase or decrease, In the perception of disciples like myself with inferior intelligence, May your lotus feet, protector, remain firmly on the unchanging vajra throne For hundreds of eons. Glorious lama, lord of the teachings, May you attain a stable vajra body, And may the great banner of the profound and definitive teachings Be raised in all directions until the end of existence. By the truth of the infallible Three Jewels, By the power and strength of the ocean of Dharma protectors and oath-bound ones, And by the power of single-mindedly accomplishing the precious excellent path, May the feet of the glorious supreme lama be firm. Thus, by the virtue of the pure white deeds arising from praying to the one and only king, the lama, May all mother beings equal to space be liberated from the ocean of suffering And attain the state of omniscient buddhahood. This, "The Iron Hook for Swiftly Inviting Supreme and Common Accomplishments," was spontaneously written during a retreat at the glorious Dzamthang (འཛམ་ཐང་) Dharma Palace by Besé Tulku Chöying Künsel Gyatso (Chos dbyings kun gsal rgya mtsho), at the age of twenty-five, in the third month of the Wood Female Sheep year (Tibetan calendar), on the waxing day of the dark month.
