The All-Knowing Meditation and Recitation: Illuminating the Path to Liberation The All-Knowing Meditation and Recitation: Illuminating the Path to Liberation This is the practice called "The All-Knowing Meditation and Recitation: Illuminating the Path to Liberation." Homage to Guru Vairochana! To the Lama, whose kindness is inexhaustible, I pay homage with reverence through the three doors. I will write the meditation and recitation of the All-Knowing One, which purifies all the lower realms. First, the refuge and generation of bodhicitta: The essence of all refuge is the Lama. I take refuge with faith in the three aspects. In order to establish all beings in the state of omniscience, I generate the mind of aspiration and action. Three times. Second, the actual meditation and recitation: Āḥ (Tibetan) From the very nature of all dharmas, which is without objectification, arises the self-appearing, perfectly pure Akanishta realm, the place of immeasurable arrangement of the Victorious Ones. Complete with marks, immeasurable, and delightful. On a precious lion throne, lotus, and moon cushion, from the complete transformation of a white Oṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओँ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), arises the All-Knowing Vairocana. White and clear, holding a Dharma wheel in the mudra of equipoise. The root face of the four faces gazes eastward. The two legs are seated in the vajra posture. Adorned with the ornaments and attire of the Sambhogakaya, an unmixed, complete, self-arisen form. Clear and empty, like a rainbow without grasping, manifest in the expanse of uncreated awareness. In the center of the heart, on a moon, is a white Oṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओँ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om). From the mantra revolving to the right, light radiates, purifying without remainder the obscurations of all beings equal to space. Oṃ namo bhagavate sarva durgate pariśodhani rājāya tathāgatāya arhate samyaksaṃbuddhāya tadyathā oṃ śodhani śodhani sarva pāpaṃ viśodhani śuddhe viśuddhe sarva karma āvaraṇa viśodhanaye svāhā. (Tibetan) Om, Namo Bhagavate, Sarva Durgate, Parishodhani, Rajaya, Tathagataya, Arhate, Samyaksambuddhaya, Tadyatha, Om, Shodhani, Shodhani, Sarva Papam, Vishodhani, Shuddhe, Vishuddhe, Sarva Karma, Avarana, Vishodhanaye, Svaha. Oṃ sarva vid sarva karma āvaraṇa viśodhaya hana hūṃ phaṭ. (Tibetan) Om, Sarva Vid, Sarva Karma, Avarana, Vishodhaya, Hana Hum Phet. At the end of reciting the root mantra as much as possible, and reciting the essence mantra many times, dissolve into space with Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुँ हुँ हुँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum Hum Hum). Manifest as the deity with A A Āḥ (Tibetan). Third, the dedication and aspiration: Representing all the virtues of the three times, by the power of dedicating to all beings pervading space, may the causes and effects of the lower realms be completely purified, and may the state of Vairocana be realized. Make dedications and aspirations as appropriate. At all times and in all circumstances, view the three doors as the deity, mantra, and Dharmakaya. The condensed essence of continuous practice is completed. This method of practicing the All-Knowing One by the unelaborate yogi, this meditation and recitation illuminating the path to liberation, was written by one named Muto Choying. Good! Good! Good!
