The Key Point of the Accomplishing Wind The Key Point of the Accomplishing Wind Thirdly, the key point of the accomplishing wind is: The sutra says, "The inner and outer winds are slow and equal. By exhaling slightly outward, the movement of the wind will cease." And it also says, "The key point of the wind should be learned very slowly." This means that relying on the slowness of the key point of the wind, the wind will scatter awareness, and conceptual thoughts will ride the wind to deceive even those who possess the essence of bliss-gone-ones. As a method to prevent its cause, if one draws in the wind from the nostrils, the winds to be trained in the four chakras will become strong, and obstacles and harm will be likely to occur. Here, drawing in from the mouth, the aspect of the movement of the lung wind is naturally purified, so the sound dissolves into the heart, and the winds to be trained are purified in their own place without abandoning thoughts, and without seeking the qualities of each chakra, they are spontaneously accomplished, and the key point of the wisdom wind being liberated into clear light is said to exist. Therefore, the arising and dissolving are equal, very slowly, without generating force from the outside, holding a little bit outwards for a long time. As a sign of its accomplishment, the movement of the channels and winds is exhausted, so the movement of thoughts is exhausted, and the sphere of awareness remains unmoving. Thus, abandoning the activities of the three doors and focusing on the key points, and relying on the key points of the doors, objects, and winds, in the jeweled box of the lamp of citta-flesh, the lamp of the basis of existence-wisdom, represented by the three—essence, nature, and compassion—exists in the form of the vase body. That very thing, from the self-born great secret channel, the kati crystal tube, white, soft, and empty, connects from the heart to the eyes. The two, with thin roots and wide tips, resembling the horns of a bat, are inserted from the center of the eyeballs. Through that, the far-reaching water lamp, half black and half white, possessing the nature of water, clear and bright, as its ornament, the outer space of the inner sound slightly appearing outwards, blue and empty, like a mirror, only as a part of the understanding-opening plan, appearing only as a transformation of the unclear into the clear, after opening the understanding, the lamp of the inner space, completely pure, like the face of the master. Initially, from the indigo-colored, vast light of the space between the eyebrows, gradually in the manner of emanating from the sound of the five lights, the five-colored brocade opening, or like the rainbow of the sky, within the clarity with the fine lines of the five lights.

The empty bindu lamp arising from the purified aspect of the earth element appears as ripples formed by throwing a stone into a clear lake or pond, characterized by a clear and bright circular halo of five colors, and so forth. Within that, the self-arisen wisdom lamp, which is like the mind of the Vajra Garland holder, appears vividly. It must be recognized through the distinction of one essence with three aspects. Experiencing the inner, extremely objectless awareness is the essence of wisdom. To that, the sharpness and swiftness of wisdom that apprehends objects, and the spontaneous manifestation of words and meanings, are the power of wisdom. And the insight of higher vision, appearing like a Vajra Garland initially knotted on a horse's tail, or like a pearl necklace, a floating golden thread, or a bouquet of flowers, is considered the radiance of wisdom. Thus, in the Root Tantra, it says: 'From the heart (Tibetan: ཙིཏྟ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: citta, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: citta, literal Chinese meaning: heart) of the precious palace, the essence is pure from the beginning. The union of emptiness and clarity is the radiance of the body. The complete face and hands are in the form of a vase body. Naturally present, it abides in a mass of light. Compassion is distinctly clear in each aspect.' Also, in the Great Perfection Wisdom Space Tantra, it says: 'The naturally arisen great secret channel that connects from the heart to the eye has a tube of Kati crystal.' Also, in the Golden Garland, it says: 'The channel connected to the precious ocean is white, soft, and empty inside. The bindu is not stained by blood. Great wisdom flows from there.' Also, in the Tantra, it says: 'Especially connected from the heart, the silk thread like a yak's hair pierces the eyes of the senses. All phenomena are the path.' Also, in Rangshar, it says: 'These are the four lamps: the empty bindu lamp, the awareness space lamp, the self-arisen wisdom lamp, and the distant hook water lamp. They all abide in the hearts of all sentient beings.' Thus it is said.
