Superiority over Trekchö Superiority over Trekchö Secondly, in order to manifestly reveal the spontaneously accomplished wisdom, in order to expound the profound path of the Great Luminous Tögal, there are two aspects: the superiority over Trekchö and the actual explanation of the special path. First, this path is shown to be superior through seven distinctions: Trekchö cannot purify the objects of delusion such as stones, trees, mountains, and rocks. Tögal has the distinction of purifying appearances into the five lights. Similarly, Trekchö merely decides that awareness, which is said to be primordially luminous, is empty and clear, but there is nothing further to see. Here, by restraining the key points, the expanse of wisdom is opened, and the sound of reality is seen. In the former, the doors of the six senses are impure, and one seeks purity by abandoning attachment to delusion. Here, the door of pure luminosity is opened by the wind of wisdom, and with the senses transparent inside and out, one enjoys the appearance of the four lamps, in which the realm and wisdom are inseparable. In the former, relying on the coarse channels and winds, there are many obstacles and deviations, and the strength of the elements also depends on age. Here, merely binding with the three immovable points, one transcends the effort of grasping the channels and winds of ultimate wisdom, and since the coarse is to be abandoned, everything is exhausted, and the body is liberated into luminosity. In the former, if liberation is possible without the appearance reaching its limit, only the subtle particles of the body dissipate, and it is impossible to transform into luminosity. Therefore, sometimes illusory bodies and the place of exhaustion arise, and the ultimate ground cannot be determined. Here, determination is achieved by transforming into luminosity. If one does not obtain the body of the Great Transference ('pho ba chen po) Vajra, which possesses great power such as eyes, clairvoyance, and miraculous abilities, then one cannot accomplish vast benefit for others with that basis. Here, since one obtains the body of the Great Transference Vajra, one can also accomplish vast benefit for beings with that basis. In the three divisions of Ati, the Mind Division's self-luminousness is scattered, and the Space Division develops confidence in the groundless, but neither directly sees awareness, and the three categories of the Instruction Division only rely on the bardo. Here, by taking delusion as the path and seeking the non-deluded result, one can quickly liberate into the light body with this basis, possessing the key point of these seven distinctions.

In the supreme place, Omniscient Longchenpa and his son have spoken thus. Similarly, from the terma prophecy of the Great Tertön Gyurme Dorje, it is said: The distinction of the appearance of light, the distinction of integrating experience into practical application, the distinction of directly seizing the essential point of one's own nature, the distinction of the essential point of the body's channels, the distinction of the perceived faculties, the distinction of the field of self-awareness, the distinction of the proliferation of experience—these seven distinctions are superior to others. Thus it is said. The way of Trekchö's transcendence.
