First, showing the distinction between samsara and nirvana. As it says in the Prasangika: \"If samsara and nirvana are not distinguished, then the connection of the three realms through body, speech, and mind will not be severed. Therefore, it is taught to distinguish between samsara and nirvana.\" This means that the nature of the three doors of sentient beings is primordially and naturally pure, but temporarily obscured by the sudden appearance of delusion. Therefore, from beginningless time, they wander and roam in the six realms. The physical forms, verbal expressions, mental thoughts, and ways of experiencing suffering of each of the six realms are inconceivable, yet they still cling and are attached. What can be done? Therefore, one must distinguish between samsara and nirvana, and from now on, cut off the root of birth in samsara. As it is also said in other tantras: \"From conceptual thought arises conceptual thought, and existence arises from existence itself. Just as water enters the ear, it is drawn out by other water.
