讲述历史。 讲述历史。 第六，展示如何给予教诲的方法，包括：讲述历史、灌顶、展示修行、持守誓言四部分。首先是讲述历史。在《虚空光明》中说：“为了传承者深奥纯正，从普贤王如来次第讲述。”因此，在展示教诲时，首先讲述历史，是为了让具缘的弟子们生起信心和定解。对此，《系解心髓》中说：“导师普贤父母，除了您之外，没有其他众生成为菩萨的法器。通过加持，您自身，通过系缚，一知即一切解脱。超越束缚和解脱的边际。通过金刚萨埵的加持，自生喜金刚在心中显现。将传承托付给僧诃，果位圆满的系解传承，托付给邬金莲花生。”如是说，从原始的法界，法性本净离戏的境界中，吉祥普贤王如来显现为任运智慧之身，向金刚萨埵等自生五部寂怒坛城无量众生宣说了大圆满超越言语、文字、行为，三时平等性的大法。金刚萨埵等在无边无际的奥明净土中，从自己的化现中，向不可思议的自显眷属众宣说了身与智慧无二无别、无碍自显如声影般的意义，这些都是诸佛仅以意念传达的意传。金刚萨埵亲自在燃烧着火焰的尸陀林中，以优美的词句向喜金刚宣说了超越法性和行为的教法，并亲自进行了结集。在粗猛转变尸陀林中，直接向师利僧诃显现并宣说。师利僧诃在娑婆世界向莲花生大师等以超越思维的方式，通过符号和象征的方式展示了实相，这是符号传承。之后，在觉沃堆的提瑟扎嘎等地，向卡钦匝等君臣眷属，确立了五具智慧心髓自明自显的证悟。从这些传承中，为了使代表上师心意的法义智慧加持依次转移，而作了发愿的印封。

Regarding this, in "Heart Essence of Entrusting and Liberation," it says, "The teacher Kuntuzangpo, father and mother, other than you, no other beings are vessels for Bodhisattvas. Through blessing, yourself, through entrusting, knowing one liberates all. Transcending the limits of bondage and liberation. Through the blessing of Vajrasattva, the self-born Garab Dorje arises in the heart. Entrusting the lineage to Simha, the fruit is the complete lineage of entrusting and liberation. Entrusted to Orgyen Padmasambhava." As it is said, from the primordial realm, the nature of reality, primordially pure, free from elaboration, glorious Kuntuzangpo arises as the spontaneously accomplished body of wisdom, and to Vajrasattva and other self-arisen five families of peaceful and wrathful mandalas, he taught the Great Perfection, which transcends words, speech, and actions, the great equality of the three times. Vajrasattva and others, in the boundless realm of Akanishta, from their own emanations, to the inconceivable assembly of self-appearing retinues, taught the meaning of the inseparability of body and wisdom, the unobstructed self-arising like sound and image, all of which are the mind transmission, transmitted by the Buddhas themselves through mere intention. Vajrasattva himself, in the charnel ground blazing with fire, to Garab Dorje, with beautiful words, taught the Dharma that transcends Dharma-nature and action, and personally compiled the teachings. In the charnel ground of Rough Transformation Grove, he directly appeared to Shri Singha and taught. He, in the world of So-sa, to Master Padmasambhava and others, in a way that transcends thought, through symbols and symbolic means, showed the reality, this is the symbolic transmission. Afterwards, in places like Gewo Töti Tsel Drakkar, to Kharchenza and other groups of lords, subjects, and friends, he established the realization of the five-fold wisdom heart essence, self-luminous and directly apparent. From these transmissions, in order to transfer the blessing of the wisdom of the meaning that represents the mind of the guru in sequence, the seal of aspiration was made.

The words of symbolic expression are recorded in writing, and transmitted from the respective teachings (Tibetan: བཀའ།) and treasures (Tibetan: གཏེར།), as well as pure visions (Tibetan: དག་སྣང་།). The oral instructions are compiled into volumes, and passed down from ear to ear, which is the oral transmission. Thus transmitted, the profound teachings that come from three or six special features, the meanings hidden by the vajra words in other tantric classes, are clearly explained by the seventeen tantras and their commentaries. Revealing the hidden, straightening the bent, keeping the stirred as it is, thereby becoming the secret treasury of the intention of all the Buddhas of the three bodies, the supreme path of unsurpassed Great Perfection. Relying on the symbolic expression, one quickly realizes the reality of the meaning to be expressed, and this essential collection of expedient paths, if practiced, will surely lead to the attainment of perfect and complete enlightenment in this very life. As it is said in the Tantra of the Garland of Lamps: From the mind transmission and the oral transmission, the measure of the meaning of mantra arises. Relying on metaphors, one recognizes the meaning; relying on signs, faith arises. Because the essence of the meaning is determined, the three wisdoms established on the ground, existing as seeds, are matured as fruits by the wisdom arising from conditions, thereby dispelling the darkness of ignorance, and the obscurations of knowledge are naturally purified, so that the fruit is seen naturally without seeking. Thus it is said. Therefore, it is necessary to tell the history, as well as the benefits of telling and the faults of not telling. As it is said in "Vast Expanse of Clarity": In order to generate certainty for the fortunate ones, the history of the lineage should be told. And the lineage is special, generating the blessings and certainty of the profound instructions. As it is said in the Tantra of the Union of the Sun and Moon: If the history is not told with meaning, then for this tantra that determines the great secret, the fault of disbelief will arise.
