应依止的上师的特征。 应依止的上师的特征。 第二，应依止的特征是：在《阿底大圆满》（Ati Kodpa Chenpo）中说：“精通且远离俗务，具有法性之义且达到标准，不迷惑于欲望之事，是密咒上师的特征。”即精通显密一切宗派，尤其是金刚乘；由于我执和贪恋小，所以放下俗务，喜欢寂静处；善于开示法性之义；生圆次第的修习生起暖相，并且具有在此生中于外、内、密三者中的任何一个解脱的标准；对于所化众生，对于他们各自想要听闻的法，具有广大的智慧和慈悲，并且没有厌倦；虽然功德超群，却没有我慢和自负。如果具备这些功德的特征，即使种姓和相貌低劣，也是正道的导师，所以应当依止。因此，依止这样的金刚上师，能够迅速获得解脱和一切智的果位。如《虚空光明》（Klong gsal）中所说：“具足特征的上师，以灌顶而解脱痛苦。”如是说。

That is, being skilled in all schools of thought, both exoteric and esoteric, especially the Vajrayana; because of small self-grasping and attachment, abandoning worldly affairs and delighting in solitary places; being skilled in explaining the meaning of Dharmata; the practice of generation and completion stages produces warmth signs, and possessing the standard of liberation in any of the outer, inner, or secret aspects in this life; for the disciples to be tamed, having great wisdom and compassion for the Dharma that each of them wants to hear, and without weariness; although virtues are outstanding, without arrogance and conceit. If one possesses these characteristics of virtue, even if the lineage and appearance are inferior, one is a guide on the right path, so one should rely on them. Therefore, relying on such a Vajra Lama can quickly attain liberation and the state of omniscience. As it is said in "Klongsal": "The Lama who possesses the characteristics, by empowerment, liberates from suffering." Thus it is said. The characteristics of a Lama to be relied upon.
