处所之差别。 处所之差别。 第三，在开示进入诀窍之因时，有处所之差别、时间之差别、上师之特征、弟子之特征、灌顶之功德与生活资具之开示、如何给予诀窍之方式的开示、道友之特征的阐述，共七个方面。其中第一个是阐述处所之差别，如《续·虚空光明太阳》中所说：“雪山之中，空旷山谷，山顶坟地等，极其寂静清净高处所，具缘士夫修持之境地。”如是所说。又，修持此甚深心髓精华之处所是：雪山之中，觉性清明；山顶之上，了知清晰；空旷山谷，自性增长善行；坟地之中，生起厌离与出离心；清净高处，法界觉性明朗；寂静之处，修持增长广大。东方遥远而低矮，能夺取东方的光彩；西方遥远而低矮，能收集西方的光芒之处，对于初学者来说，是妥噶容易修持之地。如是宣说。因此，首先需要寻找如此具有殊胜之处所，也是因为，在彼续中说：“密咒处所之差别显现。”并且，住在彼处所的利益是，在彼续中说：“禅定增长且稳固，迅速获得。”并且，恶劣处所的过患是：“具相之人，若离处所，则成障碍之因。”如是宣说。 处所之差别。

Third, in showing the causes for entering into the instructions, there are seven aspects: the distinction of places, the differences of times, the characteristics of the lama, the characteristics of the disciple, the explanation of the benefits of empowerment and the means of livelihood, the explanation of how to give instructions, and the description of the characteristics of a spiritual friend. The first of these is the explanation of the distinction of places, as it says in the Tantra "The Clear Light Sun of Space": "In a snowy mountain, an empty valley, a mountaintop, or a charnel ground, in a place that is extremely secluded, clear, and high, is the place where fortunate individuals practice." As it is said. Moreover, the place for practicing this innermost essence of the Secret Essence is: in a snowy mountain, awareness is clear; on a mountaintop, knowledge is clear; in an empty valley, virtue naturally increases; in a charnel ground, sadness and renunciation arise; in a clear and high place, the expanse of awareness is clear; and in a secluded place, practice increases greatly. A place that is far and low to the east steals the radiance of the east, and a place that is far and low to the west gathers the rays of the west. It is said that for beginners, this is an easy place to practice Tögal. Therefore, it is necessary to seek out such a special place from the beginning, because in that very Tantra it says: "The distinction of secret mantra places arises." And the benefit of staying in that place is, as it says in that very Tantra: "Meditation increases and stability is quickly attained."
