As he said, the same thing happened to us, but only this one thing is different. Sharawa also said: During the time of fruition and practice, which is like the essence of the doctrine, the doctrine did not arise in Tibet. Five hundred Arhats came to the shore of Lake Madrosa and prophesied the cause of karma. The Naga king invited the Blessed One, and he spoke the sutras requested by him. It is said that Madrosa is now known as Lake Mapham. Four rivers flow from its four directions. The source of the Ganges is definitely there. Even so, the Buddha's teachings did not spread in Tibet. Therefore, in the first period of fruition and the second period of practice, the Buddha's teachings did not arise in Tibet. So, at what time and how did the Buddha's teachings spread in this land? Sharawa himself said: The Blessed One's teachings will last for ten five-hundred-year periods. There are three periods of fruition, three periods of practice, three periods of scripture, and one period of mere signs. It seems that we Tibetans first appeared at the very end of the period of practice. Before Dharma came to Tibet, people were shrouded in a great darkness of ignorance about the meaning of this life and the next, and were no different from animals, only knowing how to eat and drink. During the reign of Lha Thothori Nyentsen, the beginning of the Holy Dharma was established. During the reign of Me Songtsen Gampo, the tradition was established. During the reign of Trisong Detsen, it flourished and expanded. During the reign of Ngadak Ralpa Chen, it was established through the new translation terms, so people say that the kings and princes are very kind to us Tibetans. As he said, after the first two five-hundred-year periods of fruition and practice had passed, the Buddha's teachings first came to Tibet. At first, during the reign of King Thothori Nyentsen, a few sutras, such as the Zamatok Decorated Sutra, along with light and sound," } ] ============================================================

They went to that place. It was called 'Nyenpo Sangwa' using Bon terminology, and offerings were made with gold offerings and turquoise. Through its blessings, that king transformed from an old man into a young man with a topknot. Thereafter, he lived until the end of his life. To this, Sharawa said: All of that is just a method to generate trust in us. It was also said that the king was Kuntasa, a bodhisattva of the tenth bhumi. Later, when that king was about to pass away, he said in his will that he had transformed from old to young and lived two lifetimes in one life, which was also due to the blessings of making manifest offerings to Nyenpo Sangwa. If offerings are made to this in the future, all happiness will arise. If discomfort and inauspiciousness occur, making offerings and prayers to this will avert them. It was also said that after about five generations, people would understand the meaning of this. After about that many generations, Mes Songtsen (Songtsen Gampo, c. 617-650) appeared and translated the Indian script into Tibetan. Initially, not only Dharma but also history, stories, and rational codes were called 'measure'. Sharawa said: All of that is oral instruction. Thinking that it could be translated with 'measure', he translated the Dharma. Because understanding of the meaning also arose, relying on the king's laws, the subjects were placed in the ten virtues, so the rain fell in season and the crops ripened in season. All happiness, such as the cessation of human and livestock diseases, arose. After about five more generations, King Trisong Detsen (742-797) appeared, and during his reign, the entire Jambudvipa was like a fusion. This king ascended the throne at the age of thirteen. From India, he invited the abbot Bodhisattva Shantarakshita, who spoke of the Sarvastivada, and seven good men were ordained, because it could be measured with 'measure', so they took stones from under their feet and made them places of offering on their heads. The Sangha arose from that time. To this, Putowa said: Each of us is a vessel. We are human beings, and whether or not we can be ordained is complete. Even if we can be ordained, to what extent can we do it? It is only to the extent that we can shave our hair and change the color of our clothes. Sharawa said: In that kind of era, Tala was still like a human being.
