Great Wrathful One who subdues nāgas, fierce spirits, and earth lords, On the vast expanse of mountains ablaze with poison, In the center of the swirling ocean of poison, The extremely wrathful Nāgarākṣa, With a dark black body, nine heads, and eighteen arms, In the eighteen arms, the right nine hold curved knives, And the left nine hold serpent lassos, The lower body is a snake's tail, coiled in the ocean. Nāgas, fierce spirits, earth lords, male and female, and myriad insects, Reverently listen to the command of the Great Supreme Deity. Wherever you may dwell in sacred places, When we utter cries of longing, Like a lightning flash in the sky, We beseech you to come to this place in an instant. The red bali offering of flesh and blood, And the stream of heart's blood that destroys the fallen, Amṛta (Sanskrit: अमृत, amṛta, nectar of immortality) mixed with intoxicating alcohol, Outer, inner, and secret unsurpassed offerings. Especially substances of samaya that accord with you, The seven precious royal emblems, such as the wheel, The eight auspicious symbols, such as the precious umbrella, And auspicious substances such as red ochre, conch shells, and yogurt. Wish-fulfilling cow, wish-granting tree, Treasure vase, bathing pond, pleasure grove. White and yellow geese, cranes, bluebirds, etc., Flocks of winged birds gather like clouds. Horses, cattle, buffaloes, sheep, mules, etc., Herds of four-legged livestock throng. The twenty-one nāga treasures possessed by nāgas, etc., Aquatic animals sway gracefully. Sea foam, three kinds of yogurt, Aba, three sour tastes, peacock feathers, etc., All substances that are medicinal, And coarse cloth, silk, fabrics, etc. The immeasurable, vast ocean of offerings, Through actual provision and mental emanation, We offer and present to you, by the blessings of this, May we, the teachers, disciples, and retinue, Digging the earth, cutting trees, Moving rocks, stirring lakes and seas, etc., In short, to all nāgas, fierce spirits, and earth lords, Whatever offenses or contradictions there may be.
