The work called "The Rain of Activities of the Minister Dorje Drakden." Invocation to the Minister Dorje Drakden: Hūṃ hrīḥ! From the pure self-appearing Ogmin pure land, the subduer, the great glorious Padma Heruka, the assembly of mothers, the powerful ones, the ocean of oath-bound ones, when you subdued them by proclaiming the horse's cry three times, how did you promise, do not forget your oath! In the middle, from the peak of Haspo Hill, the great teacher Padmasambhava, also the arrogant eight classes of gods and demons, with the vajra posture, the mudra of dance, when you bound them to the oath with the command seal, do not forget the promised oath! Finally, in the palace of Mount Potala, the lotus-handed Lokeshvara, the all-knowing one who holds the guise of a human, the mantra holder and vidyadhara of Zahor, in the presence of Ngawang Lobsang Gyatso, how did you promise, do not transgress your oath! Later, in the illusory pure land of Rasa (Lhasa), from the great palace of powerful play, when midnight arrives, to the one named Thubten Dharma Vajra, when you directly showed the form of the great Dharma King, how did you promise, remember your oath! Now, we, the vidyadharas who practice, in order to bestow the accomplishments of the four activities, and in order to accomplish all wishes in this life, the powerful protector we rely on and practice, we vow to always practice with one-pointedness, because there is no other than you, Dorje Drakden. Now, if we call you with intense longing, may the light of your compassion, divine one, in all times, day and night, six times, like a loving mother to her child, great king Dorje Drakden, we have no other hope than you, therefore, in all times, may you never forget to be a constant companion in our activities! May all adversities be pacified, such as being tormented by the karma of past evil deeds, and by the power of sudden, unexpected, and evil circumstances. May the eight and sixteen great fears, and in short, all inharmonious groups, be pacified. May life, merit, glory, and lineage be perfectly complete. May eloquence, power, wealth, strength, and abilities be possessed. May fame resound like the thunder of the sky. May retinue and possessions be greatly increased. May the essence of the stable and moving things of the three realms, and the food, wealth, and possessions of gods, demons, and humans, and all the resources needed, as vast as the ocean, be spontaneously accomplished as desired. May the activities of destroying enemies and obstructors who are cruel and hateful, former enemies plotting revenge, future enemies harboring malice, and present enemies daring to offend, like particles of dust, be accomplished. Especially those who cause sectarian strife, those who break vows, those with sweet words and harsh hearts, and all those who engage in perverse conduct, due to the power of the whirlwind of jealousy, false accusations, gossip, and those who sow discord and divide with slander, and those who cast spells and curses, in short, all enemies and obstructors who hate me, Wrathful King Heruka, with power and dominion, Vajra Dakden, your food, if you remain in place, please be a support and protector, if you are in a foreign land, please deliver us from dangerous roads and waters, from fears such as enemies, thieves, wild beasts, wolves, etc., may there be activities of constant non-harm. Wherever we are, in the three places of home, foreign land, and road, gold, silver, and other precious things, abar, kyur sum, and other medicines, silk, cotton, and other curtains, thangkas, etc., armor, helmets, bows, arrows, spears, and other weapons, horses, cattle, sheep, and other livestock, and in short, all the possessions of the three realms, a treasure of perfectly complete resources, as the possessions of the great god Trulga, may you grant accomplishments as desired. May all beings, equal to me in space, in order to accomplish the state of perfect enlightenment, all obstacles and hindrances be pacified, and all favorable things be spontaneously accomplished. In short, until the essence of enlightenment is attained, may we never be separated from you, supreme deity, and may all the activities entrusted to you be effortlessly and spontaneously accomplished.

This entrustment to Dorje Drakden was written at the repeated urging of Yik Thubten Norbu and Lhaje Rabkar, on the first day of the fourth month of the Earth-Female-Sheep year, in my own Trashi Chime Drubpai Gatsal. Dzogchen Rinpoche the Fifth, Thubten Chokyi Dorje, wrote this by hand at the age of forty-eight. May it be virtuous and auspicious! Sarva Mangalam!
