A Song Pointing Out the Essentials of View, Meditation, and Action A Song Pointing Out the Essentials of View, Meditation, and Action With a lofty view, dispel the delusion of clinging to reality; with humble conduct, protect the vows of liberation; with Bodhicitta as the foundation, connect emptiness and compassion; may your conduct become the infallible teachings of the Buddha! May view not defile conduct, and cause and effect be meticulous; may conduct not bind view, and be as clear as the sky; may altruism and self-interest not be confused, and may you think of the teachings and beings; may you, my child, walk on the infallible path of goodness! When the mind holds great, untainted altruistic deeds, may obstacles not arise from demons and enemies, and like the sun rising in a cloudless sky, may impartial altruistic deeds be accomplished! May all beings who are seen, heard, remembered, and touched, especially those connected with food, wealth, and Dharma, cut off the gate of rebirth in the lower realms of samsara, and be reborn in the pure land of great bliss! By the truth of the nature of phenomena, phenomena, the cessation of suffering, and the truth of the path, by the infallible conventional cause and effect, and by the power of truth of those who are truly established, may auspicious prayers be accomplished without hindrance!
