These words. May I have the auspiciousness of victory! When you went to the abode of the gods, The great stone like white curd, The Victor transformed into a young boy, And sat on the supreme stone seat. These true words, May I have the auspiciousness of victory! In the city of the Thirty-Three, The Victor stayed for three months, To the gods, including his mother, He manifested the Dharma. These true words, May I have the auspiciousness of victory! After staying in the heavenly realm for three months, From the emanation of the jeweled staircase, With offerings and reverence from the gods, He descended to the human realm. These true words, May I have the auspiciousness of victory! With Brahma and others white and adorned in white, The Thus-Gone-One is completely surrounded, He manifested the great descent from the gods, And the wonders thereof. These true words, May I have the auspiciousness of victory! At the time of descending from the gods, With great power and qualities, Seeing all sentient beings, They think, "He has become a Buddha." These true words, May I have the auspiciousness of victory! At the gate of the city of Radiance, The Buddha taught the Dharma, Causing many assemblies of beings, To realize the Dharma. The elephant king, like a reed, Running swiftly with the force of intoxication, The Perfectly Awakened One, with the medicine of wisdom, Made him free from all impurities. For the robber with a garland of fingers, Who does not bring auspiciousness to the world, He emanated far and near, Causing him to drown in the water, Teaching the Dharma, making him free from all bonds, The Mighty One is the tamer of men. The rough one, extremely difficult to tame, the Buddha, knowing he could be tamed, placed him in the supreme fruit of stream-entry. By these words of truth, may I have the auspiciousness of victory! Just as the king of mountains is unmoved by the winds of all directions, so too, the perfectly enlightened Buddha is unmoved by the eight worldly dharmas. By these words of truth, may I have the auspiciousness of victory! The inconceivable radiating light, the ultimate limit of the crown of his head, even those dwelling in the Brahma world are unable to see. By these words of truth, may I have the auspiciousness of victory! When teaching the sacred Dharma, even when standing behind, the face of the Victorious One is clearly seen, like the full moon in the sky. By these words of truth, may I have the auspiciousness of victory! Even up to the Brahma world, to the assembly there is no fear, understanding their thoughts, he teaches the Dharma to each of them individually. By these words of truth, may I have the auspiciousness of victory! For those tormented by the suffering of birth and so on, the Three Jewels, including the Buddha, are at all times life, protection, refuge, and companions. By these words of truth, may I have the auspiciousness of victory! I have no other refuge, the Buddha is my supreme refuge. By these words of truth, may I have the auspiciousness of victory! I have no other refuge, the Dharma is my supreme refuge. By these words of truth, may I have the auspiciousness of victory! I have no other refuge, the Sangha is my supreme refuge. By these words of truth, may I have the auspiciousness of victory! Thus, whoever speaks these words of truth, abandoning all harm, desiring to manifest the truth of liberation, will attain omniscience.
