对于无依怙者，我将成为救护者、皈依处、居所、助伴和依怙。对于所有尚未超越轮回苦海的众生，我将帮助他们超越。对于所有尚未从永不退转、无有遮障的法界中获得究竟涅槃者，我将助其获得究竟涅槃。对于尚未出息者，我将令其出息。如是说三遍。我，名为……者，如是发起菩提心后，对于无边无际的众生界，如同母亲、父亲、姐妹、兄弟、儿子、女儿，以及其他亲友和姻亲眷属一般，如是善加摄受。善加摄受后，也将依照他们的能力、力量和根器，如实地增长善根。从今以后，无论我稍微布施、持戒、修忍、精进、禅定、智慧、学习善巧方便，所有这些都是为了利益和安乐一切众生。从无上圆满正等觉开始，直至安住于大地之上，具足大悲者，那些能令众生真实进入大乘者，以此，请菩萨导师从今以后摄受我为菩萨学徒。如是说三遍。完成这一切后，在那如来身像前，向诸佛和菩萨顶礼，然后说：我，名为……者，从名为……者处，如是领受了菩萨戒律。如果没有这样的上师，自己也应当如是领受，说：导师请垂念。然后加上导师的名号，说：从今以后，请诸佛世尊和菩萨摄受我为菩萨。如是念诵直至祈请垂念。如是祈请知念之后，诸佛菩萨赞叹，并且恒常

For those without refuge, I shall become a protector, a refuge, a dwelling, a companion, and a support. For all sentient beings who have not crossed the ocean of existence, I shall help them to cross. For all who have not attained ultimate nirvana from the irreversible, unobstructed realm of Dharma, I shall help them attain ultimate nirvana. For those who have not breathed out, I shall cause them to breathe out. Say this three times. I, who am called by this name, having thus generated the mind of enlightenment, shall take to heart the infinite realm of sentient beings as if they were my mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, and other relatives and in-laws. Having taken them to heart, I shall also truly increase the roots of virtue according to their capacity, strength, and potential. From now on, whatever little I may give in generosity, keep in discipline, cultivate in patience, exert in diligence, settle my mind in meditation, discern in wisdom, or learn in skillful means, all of that shall be for the benefit and happiness of all sentient beings. Starting from the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, until dwelling firmly on the great earth, those who possess great compassion and who cause beings to truly enter the Great Vehicle, by this, I request the Bodhisattva teacher to accept me as a Bodhisattva student from now on. Say this three times. May you consider this for the sake of increasing virtue. This is a summary of the ritual spoken from the Bodhisattva Pitaka. May the nectar of merit from this text completely satisfy all sentient beings, and may the wise and fearless one attain the state of Samantabhadra's wish-fulfilling jewel.
