The Sadhana of the Great Wrathful One The Sadhana of the Great Wrathful One In Sanskrit: Caṇḍamahāroṣaṇasādhanam. In Tibetan: The Sadhana of the Great Wrathful One. Homage to the Great Wrathful One! First, according to the previously spoken ritual, meditate on emptiness here. Then, on a white lotus, upon a sun disc, from a black Hūṃ syllable that completely transforms, arises the Bhagavan Great Wrathful One, like a red flower, unmoving, with one face and two arms. Looking askance, gnashing teeth, with a great terrifying face, possessing a jewel crown. Biting the lower lip with the teeth, the head adorned with a garland of heads. Both eyes are red. The right hand holds a sword, and the left hand holds a lasso and a threatening mudra at the heart. A white snake serves as a belt. Wearing a tiger skin loincloth. Adorned with various jewels. The left foot touches the ground. The right foot is slightly raised. One should contemplate oneself as being of the nature of a garland of sunlight. One should contemplate Akshobhya as the head ornament, with the contemplation of the Samaya-sattva and Jnana-sattva going before. Then, the mantra to be recited is: Oṃ Caṇḍa Mahāroṣaṇa Hūṃ Phaṭ.
