Praise to the Lord of Speech. Praise to the Lord of Speech. In Sanskrit: Vāgīśvara Stotra. In Tibetan: Praise to the Lord of Speech. Homage to youthful Mañjuśrī! You who expound the youthful form, adorned with the lamp of wisdom, dispelling the darkness of worldly ignorance, I salute and praise Jampelyang (Mañjuśrī). Your assembly of excellent radiance overwhelms the brilliance of the full moon, making wisdom perfectly clear, Mañjuśrī, I salute and praise you! In the clear, undivided hair knot, possessing a body with blazing jewels, you are a body that always blazes, Mañjuśrī, I salute and praise you! The nectar is fragrant, sweet, gentle, and profound, proclaiming the sound of delightful speech, the precious treasury of the sacred Dharma, Mañjuśrī, I salute and praise you! Innumerable as the drops of the Ganges, all realms of the world without exception, you have completely abandoned the stains of affliction, Mañjuśrī, I salute and praise you! With the posture of a terrifying body, baring fangs and majestic, you subdue the arrogance of Yama, Mañjuśrī, I salute and praise you! With blue lotuses as beautiful as your own eyes and radiance, holding the supreme alms bowl in your hand, Mañjuśrī, I salute and praise you! To the Buddhas residing in the ten directions, extensively practicing praise, and showing the path to beings, Mañjuśrī, I salute and praise you! The praise to the Lord of Speech, praised by eight maidens, is complete. Praise to the Lord of Speech.
