是也。若离一切贪欲不执著于边际，则所有三藏之法皆能通达。若勤于询问意义，则能从轮回的束缚中解脱。若证悟意义，则所有禅定皆能净除罪障。此即名为教法之明灯。不信此义之愚人，恒常被轮回之水所冲走。恶道之苦无法忍受，可悲啊！欲从痛苦中解脱，应依止具德上师。藉由加持融入，自心得以解脱。若依止事业手印，则生起乐空智慧。方便与智慧之加持平等融入。缓慢降下，并于坛城中正直，送至各处并遍布全身。于此无执著，则生起乐空智慧。寿命延长，无有白发，如月般增长。光彩明亮，力量如狮子。迅速获得共同成就，趋向殊胜。此大手印之要诀，愿能安住于具缘众生之心间。吉祥的帝洛巴于恒河边对那若巴所说完毕。 大手印诀窍。

It is so. If one is free from all desires and does not cling to extremes, then all the teachings of the Tripitaka will be thoroughly understood. If one diligently inquires into the meaning, one will be liberated from the bonds of samsara. If one realizes the meaning, all meditations will purify obscurations. This is said to be the lamp of the teachings. Those foolish beings who do not believe in this meaning are constantly carried away by the waters of samsara. The suffering of the lower realms is unbearable, how pitiful! Those who wish to be liberated from suffering should rely on a qualified lama. Through the entry of blessings, one's own mind will be liberated. If one relies on karma mudra, the wisdom of bliss and emptiness will arise. The blessings of skillful means and wisdom will be equally absorbed. Slowly descend, and be upright in the mandala, send it to all places and pervade the whole body. Without attachment to this, the wisdom of bliss and emptiness will arise. Life will be prolonged, there will be no white hair, and it will increase like the moon. Radiance will be clear, and strength will be like a lion. Quickly attain common siddhis, and strive for the supreme. May this essential instruction of Mahamudra abide in the hearts of fortunate beings. This concludes what glorious Tilopa spoke to Naropa on the banks of the Ganges.
