Those who seek various beings, Do not abide in all places at all. It is known as the Great Seal. Because it is stainless, because it is self-knowing, Various forms and so on do not arise. Whatever wisdom is effortless, That is said to be inconceivable. That which makes one think after thinking, That itself does not change into the inconceivable. Following the meaning of the Middle Way, Whoever sees suchness, Whenever it becomes manifest and realized, That itself is the wise one, that is the wealthy one. All the imputations that exist, All become non-existent in everything. The meaning of the Middle Way is without imputation, What is there to refute or establish? To give names to the knower and the known, Thinking that it is other is not so. As it is, so it is in everything from the beginning, As it is according to the mind, it is not so. Whatever mind there is in unborn beings, The Buddha has definitely shown it to be pure. It leads all beings to its own nature, Possessing mind, it is effortlessly accomplished. This very conceptualization arises dependently, It is not the cultivation of bondage. This itself is the nature of Nirvana, Do not make the mind itself a delusion. Not abiding in the aspect of the antidote, And also not being attached to it, Not desiring its fruit, That one knows the Great Seal. As on the action seal, Abiding in joy and so on, Likewise, the Samaya Seal, The Vajra Acharya clearly shows. The action seal is of various kinds, The Dharma Seal gives rise to various ripenings. The Great Seal is devoid of characteristics, The Samaya changes with various seekings. Without knowing the Great Seal, If one practices only the action seal, Because of the deterioration of that lineage, Where will that yogi go? As long as one is mainly a hermit, When the dust of the feet can be touched, Until then, the four seals and the four moments, That one also cannot know. What is the nature of the Tathagatagarbha like? All phenomena are completely pure. How can one attain it, it is said, Because it is the nature of all phenomena. The meaning of the authentic empowerment ritual, By abandoning evil through fierce empowerment, By the merit that I have done, May all beings be happy. 《The Definitive Display of the Meaning of Empowerment》ends.
