A Brief Summary of the Necessity of Empowerment Non-Dual Vajra A Brief Summary of the Necessity of Empowerment Non-Dual Vajra In Sanskrit: Sheka Takarya Samgraha In Tibetan: A Brief Summary of the Necessity of Empowerment. Homage to the Buddha! Homage to youthful Manjushri! The words of a pure spiritual friend are difficult to understand, like showing the wrong path to that which is not the path of words. May that great essence be victorious! The Vajra Acharya, being content, briefly summarizes the necessity of empowerment. Although there are many empowerment treatises, act according to what is understood. The vase empowerment is the first, the secret supreme is the second, wisdom-gnosis is the third, and thus, likewise, the fourth as well. The meaning of "thus" is this: The vase empowerment is the first, and that means water, speech, crown, vajra, bell, name, and qualified Acharya. These six are the vase empowerment. Just as external water washes away external impurities, so too, for the sake of washing away the impurities of ignorance, this act of purification is called empowerment. Those very ones are also called irreversible empowerment, because they are the nature of the six Tathagatas. Now again, the water empowerment is like a mirror, the nature of wisdom, the very nature of Akshobhya. The crown empowerment is the nature of equality wisdom, the very nature of Ratnasambhava. The vajra empowerment is the nature of discriminating wisdom, the very nature of Amitabha. The lord's empowerment is the nature of accomplishing wisdom, the very nature of Amoghasiddhi. The name empowerment is the nature of the wisdom that follows the wisdom of eliminating ignorance, the realm of phenomena, the very pure wisdom, the very nature of Vairochana. The Acharya empowerment is the very nature of Vajrasattva. Among these, the five empowerments are called consort empowerments, because they are the activity of the five consorts, such as Buddha-eye. Here, for the sake of washing away the impurities of ignorance, the Vajra Acharya abides in the form of Akshobhya, and the disciple visualizes the form of Vairochana.

Also, the water empowerment should be given. Such pride should be generated in all ways. In the future, this is the crown empowerment that transforms the essence of the Buddha's head crest into a seed. With the nature of dependent arising and emptiness, the twelve limbs are completely purified, and the vajra of about twelve finger-lengths, in the round core of the center, is the letter ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) that represents the supreme Dharma nature. The meaning of this is: ཧ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह, Romanized Sanskrit: ha, Literal Chinese meaning: Ha) means to be free from cause; ཨུ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: उ, Romanized Sanskrit: u, Literal Chinese meaning: U) means that all dharmas do not abide at all. Here, the five-pointed form emanating from the mouth of the lotus of existence is the form of existence that necessarily arises from the complete purification of the five aggregates. Here, the tips of the directions facing the tip of the center symbolize that all forms, etc., are the nature of consciousness. Thus, it should be known that everything is the nature of everything, and everything is as it should be. Therefore, the wise who understand all the vajra dharmas, with the sound of निश्चित ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), with their own form, make the ultimate fulfillment of the five bodies of liberation complete, and also illuminate each individually. In order to realize emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, offer three flowers to everything. Thus, it should be known from the guru's instructions that the nature of the five wisdoms, namely mirror-like wisdom, equality wisdom, discriminating wisdom, accomplishing wisdom, and the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu nature, are all extremely pure natures. The so-called "symbolizing non-dual wisdom" is the meaning of summarizing. That is: the essence is firm and without gaps, having the nature of being unbreakable and indivisible, indestructible and unparalleled, this is what is called the emptiness vajra. And as it is said in the Hevajra Tantra: "The indivisible vajra." Thus it is said. This ritual of vajra empowerment bestows a state similar to the place of the seed of arising non-dual wisdom. Similarly, the necessity of the bell is also as before, about twelve finger-lengths, and because it is a lotus, the mouth faces downwards. Ringing the bell is the equal union with the vajra, that is, all dharmas are without inherent existence.
