Chapter Seven: Showing the Supreme Conduct of Mantras. Chapter Seven: Showing the Supreme Conduct of Mantras. Now, it explains not abandoning the five desirable qualities and meditating on the sixteen recollections. Therefore, it is said, "Then," and so on. The connection here is that not abandoning the five desirable qualities is applied to indicate the vessel of the disciple, because it is the nature of vows and commitments, it should be supplemented in the fifth chapter. To that, "The supreme practice of mantra" means the practice of mantra. "Perfectly complete enlightenment" means its very nature or becoming it. "To all the enjoyment of desires," and so on, shows that accomplishment is achieved by relying on desires. Alternatively, "all the qualities of desire," and so on, shows the union with the nature of the deity. "Unbearable ascetic discipline," and so on, shows the cause of non-accomplishment and the cause of accomplishment if practiced properly. Otherwise, "untimely death, and surely burned in hell," and so on, shows the fault of breaking vows. "Buddhas and Bodhisattvas," and so on, shows the benefit of relying on desires. "Having known the three aspects of form," and so on, shows the method of relying on desires. In that, even form alone has three aspects due to the differences of superior, intermediate, and inferior. Among them, the superior is what causes attachment, it is the nature of speech, similarly, the intermediate and inferior also cause ignorance and hatred, it is the nature of body, speech, and mind, thus having meditated, offer to the Bhagavan Vairochana. Some say, "That very Bhagavan of various colors, the basis of the Buddha Vairochana," means that form itself is Vairochana, therefore it should be offered with such a union. It should be applied similarly to others. Or, the meditation on that is, "Meditate in the manner of the family," which means that all those families are made into the nature of mind, and thus offer and invite them. Up to this point is not abandoning the five desirable qualities, it should be known as the samadhi of the path of purification. After that, recollection
