Like the corpses and so on that are spoken of, one should think in this way: the corpse that is found is the corpse to be subdued. Similarly, the food of heroes, perfectly endowed with mantras and mudras. This means that the nature of mantras and mudras refers to those who are well-versed in mantras and tantras, and who possess the outer limbs. That is, those who possess all the conditions. For such people, the hero who holds the feast is worthy of praise. The term "Nirvana" refers to the mind of enlightenment. The remaining parts are easy to understand. Furthermore, for the messenger goddess, the most excellent diligence is to be simultaneously endowed with non-laziness, that is, to have a mind free from attachment. To become a goddess in this way is to be capable of accomplishing activities. The phrase "unattached joy perfectly combined" means that one should not aim at the union of joy by means of the image of one's own nature. Other treatises have no other meaning. Yogis should eat the food of samadhi, and should not give it to those who are not suitable vessels. Or, one should not give it to those who are fully endowed with the substances of yogic vows. The phrase "attachment to external distinctions" means that the meaning of yoga is the meaning of the messenger. Therefore, the saying "equal to wealth-giving" means to be fond of the guru's oral instructions. One should not destroy the order of the guru's lineage, and for this purpose it is said to be equal to wealth-giving. In this way, if one practices according to the true meaning, one is equal to glorious Heruka.
