Meditate on the syllable "Na." At the throat, visualize a circular water mandala from the white syllable "Pam" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: वम्, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vam, Chinese literal meaning: water). On top of that, imagine a blue crescent-shaped wind mandala from the syllable "Yam" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: यम्, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: yam, Chinese literal meaning: wind). Above that, visualize a white syllable "Ha." Then, from the heart center, radiate light and invite the deities of body, speech, and mind from the ten directions, and stabilize them in their places. Then, begin the blessing, reciting "Om Ah Besha, Tutte Samhe Vajra Ghama, Manu Taram" one hundred and eight times, throwing incense into the fire, circling the disciple, and handing it to them. Also give a flower garland to their right hand. Recite "Om Ah Besha Ah Besha, Tovaya, Ra Ra Ra Ra, Tsale Ha Tsale Ya Hum Ah Ha Zhe Svaha." The air at the soles of the feet is stirred. The air ignites the fire. The fire ignites "Jah Hum" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: जः हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: jah hum, Chinese literal meaning: descending, merging). The rays of "Jah Hum" enter the heart from the soles of the feet, thereby knowing non-virtuous things and so on. Entering the throat, one can speak. Entering the crown of the head, the body becomes unstable and throbs. Then, reciting "Tishta Vajra," grasp the throbbing place, making it stable. Then, visualize a red syllable "Ah" on the tongue, and say, "Speak, Vajra, is it good or not good?" In this way, one will be able to speak all good and bad. Then, take a flower from the pleasing eye-cloth garland and hand it to the disciple, reciting "Pratitsa Vajra Ho," and then throw it into the mandala. Then, the master picks up the flower and says, "Take this great power," and then ties it on the disciple's head. Then say, "Good son, with your stainless and pleasing eyes, what do you see? If you see white, then the pacifying actions will be accomplished. If you see yellow, then the increasing actions will be accomplished. If you see red, then the magnetizing actions will be accomplished. If you see black, then the wrathful actions will be accomplished. Vajrasattva himself, today diligently opened your eyes." Recite "Om He Vajra Sva Yanti De, Chakra Gata Na, Tatpara Na, Uta Ya Te, Sarva Yaga Kro, Vajra Chakra Ra Buddham," and then remove the veil. Then, from the center of the mandala to the end of the north gate, show the deities. Then, have the disciple offer flowers and other offerings, and have them prostrate three times to the Vajra Master. Circumambulate the mandala.
