Bodies burning with desire like hungry ghosts, The naked ones, separated from the moon's retinue and beings, have also fallen asleep, But you, possessor of the ten powers, are always the first to awaken. In this great place on the border, ascetics abhor evil, Angirasa, and wandering ascetics and others dwell and flourish, The anthill dwellers and the joyful ones, the place where young women's genitals reside, and the deluded ones have also fallen asleep, But you, possessor of the ten powers, are always the first to awaken. Yama, water gods, ugly bodies, yakshas, demons, and the lord of the eaters of corpses, And other protectors of the world, those dwelling in the heavens, on earth, and in the sky, Those who are extremely attached to young women and look askance have also fallen asleep, But you, possessor of the ten powers, are always the first to awaken. Bodies sunk in the ocean of existence, covered by the net of ignorance, The capable one, Shakya, the alms-gatherer wandering everywhere, with foolish thoughts, Those who have completely lost the bliss of peace have also fallen asleep, But you, possessor of the ten powers, are always the first to awaken. In the night of ignorance, craving darkness, wearing thick bedding, When one sleeps deeply on the pillow of one's homeland, When the fruits of virtue and non-virtue are completely reversed, I prostrate to the one who is the constant sleep and awakening. On the banks of the water, hundreds of breeds of cattle drink water, Even if they drink their fill and leave, the water does not appear to diminish, Likewise, even if a hundred capable poets praise you, The ocean of qualities, the great treasure of goodness, will never be exhausted. In the early morning, you alone open the eye of wisdom and praise, The protector of the three realms, the light of the seven horses, constantly illuminates this world, Various paths are attained, turning away from evil paths, wealthy and glorious deeds, Without hesitation, spontaneously, easily accomplish all kinds of siddhis.
