The Collected Works of Dokhampa Sherab Gyaltsen JDol146 Instructions to Yarlungpa Ponmo Khye Tren Gon at the Time of Death Instructions to Yarlungpa Ponmo Khye Tren Gon at the Time of Death Instructions to Yarlungpa Ponmo Khye Tren Gon at the Time of Death Namaḥ Shrī Guruve. Homage to the Guru) The nature of mind is inherently clear light, It becomes manifest at the time of death. Having familiarized yourself with the clear light child, It becomes manifest at the time of death. It is विविध (Sanskrit: various), similar to the eight aspects of Prapabha (Sanskrit). There is neither good nor bad in it, Look at it by entrusting it to equanimity. Without distraction, in one-pointedness, If you abide, you will dissolve into its nature. No deluded appearances will arise, Awareness dissolves into the state of clear light. Whatever forms of gods, demons, or humans may appear, The nature of clear light is all-encompassing. Whatever diverse forms may appear, If you abide, you will dissolve into its nature. No deluded appearances will arise, Awareness dissolves into the state of clear light. Whatever forms of gods, demons, or humans may appear, The nature of clear light is all-encompassing. Whatever diverse forms may appear, Just look at that form by entrusting it. Without distinguishing between joy and sorrow, good and bad, Leave everything in equanimity. There is no refuge other than the Lama and the Three Jewels, Whatever you do, may the Lama and the Three Jewels know. Whatever you raise or lower, may the Lama and the Three Jewels know, May I be reborn immediately after death. As soon as I am born, may I quickly perfect the ten bhumis, And may I benefit others in the ten directions through emanations. As a symbolic offering, I have a yellow hat that I wore, a Yarlung cloth, and a small table. May it be virtuous and auspicious! (The original text is based on both the Utsang and Dzamtang editions, which have slight differences, with the Utsang edition being the primary reference.)
