The Second Buddha, the Omniscient Lord of Dharma, In times of strife, you arose as a lamp for the teachings, Cutting through wrong views, you raised the victory banner of the teachings. I prostrate to the Omniscient One, an emanation of noble lineage. Like the Licchavi who became Nagarjuna, You initiated the tradition of the teachings, distinguishing the two truths, Refuting the extremes of existence and non-existence, you spoke of praises and collections of reasoning. You built countless stupas embodying the union of the two accumulations. In the interim, you showed the manner of the Lord of Dharma of Drigung, Speaking of the single intention, the collected teachings, and the distinction of the two truths. You established the tenets of your own and others' schools. You built the auspicious Many-Doored Stupa, an extraordinary support of the Three Jewels. Now, you arise as the Omniscient Lord of Dharma, Elucidating the teachings on the distinction of the two truths. You revealed that the many clear lights of the result are of one taste. You built the Great Hundred Thousand Stupas embodying the union of the two accumulations. In the great drum and many sutras and tantras, You were prophesied by the Buddhas as having the four reliances and the seven reliances, And as the Omniscient One. I prostrate to that emanation of Avalokiteśvara. By this virtue, may all sentient beings, mothers equal to the sky, Completely conquer the enemies of the five poisons of affliction, And realize the result, the three bodies of the Dharmadhatu. Until I attain the two bodies and accomplish the two benefits, May I always be accompanied by a guru like the Omniscient Father and Son, And may I always drink the subtle waters of the Dharma.
