, "english_translation": "The seven methods of abiding the mind in the twenty-one ways of mind-holding are: As an antidote to hot and cold diseases, visualize a white letter \"A\" (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A) at the tip of the nose, and combine it with the breath, thinking of it going back and forth, this is one. The breath is the same as before, but say \"Phat\" (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Devanagari: फट, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal meaning: Phat), and hold the mind in a state of non-conceptual awareness. When conceptual thoughts arise again, say it again, this is two. Destroy the intense \"Ha\" (Tibetan: ཧ, Devanagari: ह, Romanized Sanskrit: ha, Literal meaning: Ha) conceptual thoughts and hold them in the mind, this is three. Sit in a squatting position and roll the head on a mountaintop, etc., this is four. At this time, practice the wind element. Also say the long and short \"Hum\" (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum), and direct the mind to the \"Hum,\" this is five. Keep the body posture as before, and hold the mind by visualizing a clear \"Ram\" (Tibetan: རཾ, Devanagari: रं, Romanized Sanskrit: raṃ, Literal meaning: Ram) at the navel, this is six. Visualize many tiny bodies radiating and gathering back and forth at the tip of the nose and all the pores, this is seven. Keep the body posture as before, and hold the mind on the red and white bindu between the eyebrows, this is one. Clarify the three channels and hold the breath, this is two. Visualize a white breath like an arrow going back and forth at the tip of the nose, and hold the mind, this is three. Visualize the body transforming into five kinds of light aggregates, and hold the mind, this is four. Project both mind and breath into the sky, and think that any letter or light sphere gradually rises until it touches the sun and moon, this is five. Direct the mind to the ear and abide there, this is six. Visualize a small deity body clearly inside the heart, and hold the mind, this is seven. By this, the attachment to body and mind is severed. Third, the sevenfold teaching on seeing the nature of reality: Search for the basis of naming, and meditate on all phenomena of samsara and nirvana as emptiness, this is one. Look at all appearances and meditate on them as empty, this is two. Meditate on all appearances as unreal and impermanent, this is three. On whatever appears of the five elements, remain without distraction, this is four. Know that all that arises of appearance and awareness is a series of moments, recognize that it naturally abides in non-conceptuality, and identify it, this is five. When dualistic appearances arise as dualistic grasping, look at that which arises, this is six. Awareness dissolves into the sky. Meditate on all appearances and thoughts remaining clearly in the state of the sky, and hold the mind thinking that the sky and all phenomena are equal in emptiness, this is seven. These are the concise words spoken after taking the meaning of the union of sun and moon from the Supreme Vehicle Treasury, which naturally abides in the nature of reality." , "english_translation": "This also benefits some students." } ] ============================================================

Then Gaga Abhe said in a hurry. Auspicious! Auspicious! Thus dwells the essence of nectar, a concise collection of the heart's meaning. Oh, until you are convinced that all the phenomena appearing in your mind right now are like dreams, not truly existent, but illusions of the mind, you must observe them. This is the ultimate of all tenets below the Mind-Only school. Then, observe what that mind is like, and if nothing is seen, that is called the wisdom of emptiness of essence. By this, the meaning of the tenets below the Madhyamaka is realized. The nature of the mind, which is emptiness of essence, is clear and bright, and this is called self-luminous nature. The wisdom of the inseparability of clarity and emptiness, from the aspect of omniscient and all-seeing wisdom, is called universal compassion. The three, clarity, awareness, and emptiness, are inseparable, and this is called the spontaneously accomplished three bodies of the ground continuum. Continuously maintaining the state of manifesting it, without being disturbed by delusion, conceptualization, grasping and clinging, or ordinariness, and deliberately leaving it unbound, is the meditation that is free from focused targets. If even a tiny thought arises for a moment, knowing it to be in the state of the dharma-nature that is free from negation and affirmation, acceptance and rejection, maintaining the natural state without any follow-up, then the self-continuum will not be bound by clinging, and this is called self-liberation. This is the intention of post-meditation practice. Therefore, non-action is the action of meditative equipoise, and action is the action of post-meditation, and the two are applied according to the time. The fruit is the three bodies of self-nature and wisdom, manifested by being free from all stains of obscuration, and the activity expands without bias. Thus, Gaga said in the presence of Thubten. Auspicious! Seven methods of abiding the mind of twenty-one mind-holdings.
