Listen, son of a fortunate lineage! In order to generate definite departure from samsara from all the sutras and tantras, Four methods for turning the mind are taught. First, look at your own body, speech, and mind. To obtain the fortune of receiving Dharma instructions, To find this is called the leisure and endowment of a human body. If it is wasted, it is a loss of purpose. To entrust one's life's aspirations to a scholar, Is praised by everyone as a clever person. That is a deceitful person. A so-called scholar is one who accomplishes ultimate aspirations. Even if fortune comes to oneself, If one does not settle the matter with Dharma, that person, When struck by demons, the Lord of Death, and disease, Regret will come too late. At that time, happily, Without hesitation, to find peace of mind and certainty, A so-called meaningful person is one whose words and actions are consistent. You yourself are very kind to yourself. The changes of the outer four elements are uncertain, The inner illusory body ages and wrinkles form. The mind changes in an instant, impermanent, Knowing and seeing this, yet disregarding it. Knowing that one will surely die, yet preparing to stay. Seeing others die, yet having no fear. What courage and confidence do you have? It is uncertain whether one will exist even tomorrow. Do you think that your house and home are your place of comfort? Do you think that wealth and possessions are for your enjoyment? Do you think that friends and loved ones will go with you? All of that is meaningless, like the mind of an old dog. One hears much Dharma, but practices little. One relies on many deities, but lacks faith. One receives many empowerments, but lacks vows and commitments. What is the difference between that and an ordinary evil person? One pretends to be a practitioner outwardly, but the mind is hard. One changes the robes to red and yellow, but lacks training. One is content with mere recitation. At the time of death, one is naked and empty-handed. Even if the outer red and yellow signs are not beautiful, Even if one does not possess vows and discipline, Even if one is not skilled in explaining the scriptures, The means of supreme accomplishment are found in great meditators. The mind, if unrestrained, is like a monkey dancer, No matter how much a friend tries to change it, it acts as it pleases. Dance, measure, melody, music, these beautiful things, It seems as if one is showing off to the enemy, the Lord of Death. Now think, death is approaching. Knowing that death is certain, yet not understanding one's own mind, If one is overly attached to the appearance of an attractive woman, That is the bait of a dead ghost. The state of mind for practicing Dharma must be prepared in advance, Once it is done," } ] ============================================================ོ་མཇུག་མ་འཚམས་ནཿ མི་གཞན་གྱིས་ཁྲེལ་ཞིང་རང་སྡུག་བསྔལཿ དོན་དེ་ཕྱིར་རང་ལ་བསྐུལ་མ་དགོསཿ ལར་ཆགས་སྡང་འདི་ལ་མ་ཕྲི་ཞིངཿ ཆོས་བྱས་ཀྱང་ཞེན་ལོག་མེད་པ་ཚོཿ ངས་གྲུབ་སྙམ་གྲངས་ཀྱི་གློ་བ་དགའཿ དེ་ལེགས་སྨོན་ཙམ་ལས་ཡོད་རེ་ཀནཿ དོན་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ཉིད་མ་སྦྱོངས་བཿ སྒོམ་ཡིན་ནོ་ཙམ་པས་རྒྱགས་པ་ཡངཿ དེ་ཐར་བའི་ལམ་དུ་འགྲོ་སྲིད་ཀྱངཿ སངས་རྒྱས་པའི་ལམ་བཟང་ཡིན་རེ་ཀནཿ དག་སྣང་དང་མོས་གུས་མ་ལྡན་ནཿ ངག་འདོན་པ་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཐེག་པ་མིནཿ སྣང་སྲིད་འདི་ལོག་ལྟར་ཤར་བ་ཡིཿ མཐར་སངས་རྒྱས་སྟོང་གི་སྐྱོབས་རེ་ཀནཿ སེམས་གནས་ལུགས་བབས་སུ་མ་བཞག་པརཿ རྒྱས་འདེབས་དང་ཕྱི་འབྱམས་སྟོང་ཉིད་ཀྱིཿ ཡིད་དཔྱོད་པ་ཡིན་སྙམས་མཆོག་འཛིན་གྱིཿ ཚི་ཆད་ལས་སྒོམ་གོ་ཆོད་རེ་ཀནཿ དེ་སྐད་དུ་སྨྲ་བའི་ཟོབ་རྫུན་འདིཿ ཁྱེད་སློབ་མས་ནན་བསྐུལ་མ་བཟོད་ནསཿ རྔ་དབྱུག་གུའི་བརྡུང་བའི་དཔེ་བཞིན་དུཿ སྔགས་རྒན་པོ་ག་ག་ཨ་བྷྱེས་བྲིསཿ ས་མ་ཡཱཿ རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱཿ ༈ རྐྱེན་ངན་རྩ་བ་ངར་འཛིན་འདི་ལ་ཐུག །འདྲེ་གདོན་རྩ་བ་རྣམ་རྟོག་ཡིན་ནོ་ལོ། །རྩུབས་ན་རྩུབས་ན་འཁོར་བའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་རྩུབས། །གདོན་ན་གདོན་ན་ཉོན་མོངས་དུག་ལྔས་གདོན། །ཞེས་ཟེར་རོ། ། ཞལ་གདམས་ངེས་འབྱུང་ཤིང་རྟ།

Oh, if the ending is not appropriate, others will be ashamed and you will suffer. Therefore, you must urge yourself. In general, for those who have not reduced their attachment and hatred, and even if they practice Dharma, they have no aversion, they think that I have achieved it, and their hearts are very happy. That is just a good wish. In fact, if you have not cultivated the mind of enlightenment, and you are complacent just because you are a practitioner, even if you can go on the path of liberation, it is not the great path to Buddhahood. If you do not have pure appearance and devout reverence, oral recitation is not Vajrayana. If appearance and existence appear as inverted, in the end you will not be saved by a thousand Buddhas. If you do not settle your mind in its natural state, but only increase and outwardly scatter emptiness, thinking that you are thinking and clinging to superiority, then it is just in vain, and practice will not make any progress. These hypocritical words, because you disciples have repeatedly urged me and I can't bear it, just like the drumstick hitting the hand drum, the old mantra master Gaga Abhi wrote these. Samaya, Gya Gya Gya. In short, the root of misfortune lies in self-grasping. The root of ghosts and demons lies in conceptual thought. Rough, rough, the suffering of samsara is rough. Possessed, possessed, possessed by the five poisons of affliction. They say so. Oral instruction, the chariot of renunciation.
