Thus, since all sentient beings are parents, with equanimity free from closeness, distance, attachment, and aversion, recognizing them as the object of love and compassion, with wisdom generating the compassion that desires to separate sentient beings from the suffering of samsara, and the loving-kindness that desires to endow them with temporary and ultimate happiness, and the joy of dwelling in happiness free from suffering. The actual entering or the object of training is to actually enter and accomplish all three, great, small, and medium, of hearing, thinking, meditating, and practicing related to the six perfections. These are conventional bodhicitta. The practice of bodhicitta and the six perfections, enhanced by the purity of the three spheres, is merely the practice of ultimate bodhicitta.
