It is difficult to express, but for the sake of meaning, I mention the name, (Khenchen Thubten Chöpel), please listen and remember! (Here, one can place any respected name from the Sutra or Tantra traditions.) Now, relying on the binding of great vows that are interdependent and previously connected, and with devotion like seeing the Buddha in person, free from pretense, I urge and pray to initiate the firm vows of the path of learning: May the patron (ཆཻགེམོ), by offering this object of refuge (or, by engaging in virtue and abandoning evil), through such a commitment, may the teachings of the Victorious Ones, without sectarianism, flourish and spread in all places and times, and never decline; may all the intentions, lives, and activities of the holy lamas and virtuous spiritual friends who uphold, maintain, and propagate these teachings be free from all obstacles and harm, and increase and grow like the waxing moon; may all the monastic communities in the ten directions, represented by the great Dharma center (Samten Phelgyeling), including monasteries, temples, Dharma centers, and secluded places, obtain the correct view, free from disputes such as disagreements in philosophical views; may they be liberated from all the actions of karma, afflictions, and demons, and abide in the purity of discipline and vows; may the wheel of the teachings of the three studies of hearing, contemplation, and meditation, the three activities of teaching, debate, and composition, the three qualities of being learned, disciplined, and excellent, and the three actions of reading, writing, and practice be raised to the peak of existence; may the power, strength, and ability of all enemies, demons, oath-breakers, and all beings, both visible and invisible, belonging to the barbarian hordes, who harm the teachings, be destroyed and reduced to dust. In all realms of the world, may all undesirable things and their causes and effects, such as epidemics, wars, famines, hailstorms, frosts, droughts, bad years, diseases, plagues, infectious diseases, disasters, and sufferings, be completely pacified, averted, and destroyed, so that even their names are no longer heard; may the auspiciousness of the environment and beings increase, and may all the seven qualities of the higher realms, as well as fortune, power, prosperity, life force, merit, fame, and all thoughts and wishes, be effortlessly and spontaneously accomplished; may we ultimately be completely liberated from the three realms of samsara, quickly attain omniscience, and become indivisible and one with the wisdom of the lineage lord, the precious lama, the fully enlightened Buddha.
