For the vows that have not been broken, and for being inseparable from the supreme and precious Guru, I pray to the one who emanates clouds of Dharma. Furthermore, to the thirteen accomplished ones who attained the body of great transference from this Kagyu lineage, and to the twenty-five who dissolved the aggregates of defilements into the sky, and to the five hundred or so who are lesser than them, I pray to all the Vajra brothers and sisters. Through the power of praying to the lineage in this way, may we be blessed to be liberated in the Bardo of reality through the meditative experience of realizing the view of the four empowerments. If we have not gained firm control over our own minds, may Adharma Buddha extend the rope of compassionate light. May we instantly penetrate the Bardo, not remain in the womb, and perfect ultimate wisdom. Depending on the power of entering and abiding in the single yogi, may the Guru and companions take hold of us lazy ones who are dominated by our own karma, with the truth of joined arms, internal harmony, and self-liberation. By encouraging the king of Dharma in the three realms, may the two benefits be spontaneously accomplished and the two bodies be manifested. Saying this with a mind free from duality, abiding in the path of equanimity yoga, whoever can endure this will never be separated from the thousand Buddhas. Even the deities of the mandala, without needing to be practiced, are like small rivers merging into the self-born ocean, the Tathagata without increase or decrease. This is the Guru of all supreme methods, in the pure appearance of unwavering devotion, the yogi who has gained freedom.
