How to rely on qualified virtuous friends and listen to the instructions of empowerment. How to rely on qualified virtuous friends and listen to the instructions of empowerment. The way he relied on qualified virtuous spiritual friends and listened to the instructions of empowerment is: As it is said in the "Supplication of the Biography": "Having attained the meaning of perfect wisdom individually, Although fully possessing the view of the three great lions, Yet rely on many lamas to seek common interests. I pray to the supreme master of the wise." In general, even though residing in the state of a noble being who has attained the ultimate in both benefits, Yet, considering the other disciples, he duly relied on many qualified virtuous spiritual friends such as Kunchen Mipham Gyatso, Mura Dechen Zangpo, Gemang Khenchen Yonten Gyatso, Tshamtrul Kunzang Dechen Dorje, Phukhang Gyurme Ngedon Wangpo, and practiced the way of studying the ocean of sutras and tantras. Among them, he only met Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche and listened to various Dharma teachings, but did not have the opportunity to rely on him for a long time. In particular, he relied on the lotus feet of the uncommon lineage holder, the one father Dudjom Lingpa, Khenchen Kunzang Palden, and Khenchen Draya Yang Gyatso. (Nubzur Khenchen Draya Yang Gyatso is from Sertar Tukgya Tshawawa, his birthplace. It is said that when he was young, he went to Kathok to study and was given the name Khenpo. The main lamas were Degong Khenchen Kunzang Palden, Nubzur Yangtrul Do Gyud Gyatso, Kathok Khenchen Nudan, Gemang Khenpo Yonga, etc. Among them, Khenchen Yonten Gyatso was the uncommon root lama. He went to Lhasa and prayed in front of Jowo Yizhin Norbu to meet a qualified virtuous spiritual friend. Later, when he went to Dzachu Khar, Khenpo Yonga's family was writing a commentary on the Yonten Dzod, which was not yet completed, so the connection was very good. At that time, Khenpo Yonga gave him the lineage of teaching and transmission of the Yonten Dzod commentary and ordered him to teach and spread it to others. He set up a small tent in many monasteries and secluded places in Dzato and lived there for a long time.)

He stayed there for a while. The valley where he resided is still known as the Valley of Sound. At that time, Drubwang Namkha Jigme met him and became his unique disciple. Thubga Yizhin Norbu and he were Dharma friends, and it is said that he had great qualities. However, he was a special lama who had a tough character, liked to show rough behavior, preferred the style of a hermit, and was not at all interested in worldly affairs such as training disciples. Therefore, he seemed not very sociable, and his activities did not flourish that much. Later, he went to Nubzur Monastery and served as the Khenpo of the summer retreat. He gave some Dharma teachings on the root text and commentary of the "Treasury of Qualities" to about fifteen people, including Tulku Lodro Wangpo, and stayed there for a certain period of time. Finally, in his later years, he went to a special practice cave called the Garlic Land Hermit Cave, which was previously the place where Padmasambhava Drodrul Dorje performed the planetary rituals. From that practice cave, he had people perform a Tsogkor at Kudakha, saying that there was nothing happier than dying, and after the Tsog, he showed passing away. His body was cremated at the woven place at the top corner of the practice cave, and it is said that a stone marker can still be seen today. Drubwang Namkha Jigme considered him more important than other lamas and often prayed to "Sound Lama Wish-Fulfilling Jewel." Not only did he wear a precious object formed from his manifestation around his neck, but he also placed it on his head every day to pray and ask for blessings, showing an amazing biography. In general, in all the writings of Drubwang, it is written, "Taking the dust of the feet of the two Kunsangs on the crown of the head," which is said to refer to Khenchen Kunsang Chodrak and Khenchen Kunsang Drayang Gyatso. The other lamas of Drubwang are well known, and their biographies are recorded in detail or briefly, so there is no need to explain them. However, Khenpo Drayang himself has become his unique and important lama, so it is very important to know his history, but biographies, etc. are completely

Marakpa (མ་གྲགས་པ) inquired a little, but only wrote this much. ] Having heard the profound and vast teachings of maturation and liberation like an ocean in a single transmission, he became the only son in his heart. At all times, he extensively examined and contemplated the general collection of Sutra and Tantra scriptures, and especially all the Tantra sections of Anuttara Tantra, without ever being self-indulgent or slightly relaxed, showing such conduct. How to rely on a qualified virtuous spiritual friend and listen to the teachings of empowerment and guidance.
