The Noble Aspiration of Maitreya The Noble Aspiration of Maitreya The Noble Aspiration of Maitreya. I prostrate to all the Buddhas! And also to the Bodhisattvas who possess the divine eye of a sage, And to the Shravakas! May I pay homage to the Bodhichitta, which averts all evil destinies, clearly shows the path to higher realms, and leads to the state free from old age and death! Since I am under the control of my mind, whatever sins I have committed, I will confess them before the Buddhas. Whatever accumulation of merit I have created through any of the three means, May it be the seed for my omniscience, and may my Bodhi never be exhausted! In all the fields of the ten directions, Whatever offerings to the Buddhas have occurred, And with the joy of the Buddhas' wisdom, I rejoice in that. I will confess all sins, And I rejoice in all merits. I prostrate to all the Buddhas, May I attain the supreme wisdom! In all the directions of the ten directions, The Bodhisattvas who abide on the ten Bhumis, I urge them to attain supreme Bodhi. May they attain perfect enlightenment, And after subduing the Maras and their retinues, For the sake of benefiting all sentient beings, May they turn the wheel of Dharma! May the sound of the great Dharma drum Liberate suffering sentient beings! May they teach the Dharma and remain for countless eons! To me who is sinking in the swamp of desire, And tightly bound by the thread of existence, Bound by all bonds, May the supreme two-legged ones look upon me! The Buddhas do not condemn those who are defiled by the mind, But have loving hearts for sentient beings, May they liberate me from the ocean of existence! Whatever perfect Buddhas reside, And those who have passed away and have not yet come, I will follow and learn from them, And practice the Bodhisattva conduct. After perfecting the six Paramitas, May I liberate the sentient beings of the six realms! After manifesting the six Abhijna, May I touch the unsurpassed Bodhi! Unborn and non-arising, Natureless, without a place, Without consciousness, without things, May I realize the Dharma of emptiness! 是。愿证悟无我之法！对于执着于我及我所，不住于一切事物，为了众生的安乐，愿无有悭吝而行布施！因无有事物及非事物，愿我的受用自然成就！因一切事物皆为坏灭之性，愿圆满布施波罗蜜多！ 戒律之清净戒行无有瑕疵，且具足完全清净之戒律，以无有骄慢之戒律，愿圆满戒律波罗蜜多！如地或水或火，不住于风之界，无有嗔恚或愤怒，愿圆满安忍波罗蜜多！以发起精进之精进，无有懈怠懒惰，以具足力量之身心，愿圆满精进波罗蜜多！如幻化般的禅定，以及勇猛趋入之禅定，以及如金刚般的禅定，愿圆满静虑波罗蜜多！以解脱之三门，以及三时平等性，以及现证三明，愿圆满智慧波罗蜜多！ 为诸佛所赞叹，光明与光辉炽盛，以及菩萨之精进，愿我的意愿得以圆满！如是行持、行持者，以及具足慈爱名声者，圆满六波罗蜜多后，善安住于十地。圣者慈氏之愿文圆满。 圣者慈氏之愿文。

So be it. May I realize the Dharma of no-self! Not dwelling on all things, clinging to self and what belongs to self, for the sake of the happiness of all sentient beings, may I give generously without stinginess! Because there are no things and no non-things, may my possessions be spontaneously accomplished! Because all things are of the nature of destruction, may I perfect the perfection of generosity! The discipline of morality is without fault, and endowed with completely pure discipline. With discipline free from pride, may I perfect the perfection of morality! Like earth, or water, or fire, not dwelling in the element of wind, without hatred or anger, may I perfect the perfection of patience! With the diligence of initiating diligence, without steadfastness, joy, or laziness, with a body and mind endowed with strength, may I perfect the perfection of diligence! With samadhi like an illusion, and samadhi that goes forth bravely, and samadhi like a vajra, may I perfect the perfection of meditation! With the three doors of liberation, and the equality of the three times, and having directly realized the three knowledges, may I perfect the perfection of wisdom! Praised by all the Buddhas, blazing with light and splendor, and with the diligence of the Bodhisattvas, may my wishes be fulfilled! Thus practicing, the practitioner, and the one endowed with loving fame, having perfected the six perfections, may I be well established on the ten grounds.
