《圣观自在菩萨母名陀罗尼》 《圣观自在菩萨母名陀罗尼》 印度语：阿雅 瓦洛吉帖湿伐拉 玛达 纳玛 达拉尼。 藏语：《圣观自在菩萨母名陀罗尼》。 向诸佛和菩萨顶礼！ 如是我闻，一时，薄伽梵住广严城，为大眷属围绕，在前瞻仰而住。与大声闻舍利子等五百比丘，以及弥勒等菩萨摩诃萨极多眷属围绕，在前瞻仰。薄伽梵安住于所设之座。 彼眷属中，名为普贤菩萨摩诃萨者聚集而坐，从其座起，偏袒右肩，右膝着地，以头顶礼薄伽梵之足，向薄伽梵如是禀白：世尊，名为观自在菩萨母之陀罗尼大明咒，此秘密咒之根本，过去、未来、现在诸佛薄伽梵已先说，现在亦说。世尊，我为菩萨时，于圆满求菩提时，为摄受一切有情，为义利，为菩萨之义利之间，先说菩萨乘之种姓之子或种姓之女，彼等之父，彼等之母，无依怙者之依怙，无亲友者之亲友，无救护者之救护，能令一切罪恶灭尽。才听闻此陀罗尼，一切愿望皆得圆满，一切明咒亦得成就。 薄伽梵告曰：菩萨摩诃萨，我昔为菩萨时，于圆满求菩提时，于如恒河沙数世界之彼方之更彼方，有世界名为极乐世界。

《Noble Avalokiteśvara's Mother Named Dhāraṇī》 《Noble Avalokiteśvara's Mother Named Dhāraṇī》 In Sanskrit: Ārya Avalokiteśvara Mātā Nāma Dhāraṇī. In Tibetan: 《Noble Avalokiteśvara's Mother Named Dhāraṇī》. I prostrate to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard. At one time, the Blessed One dwelt in the great city of Vaiśālī, surrounded and attended by a great retinue. With five hundred monks, including the great Śrāvaka Śāriputra, and a vast number of Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas, including Maitreya, surrounded and attended, the Blessed One sat upon a prepared seat. In that assembly, the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva named Samantabhadra gathered and sat. He rose from his seat, arranged his upper robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, bowed his head to the feet of the Blessed One, and addressed the Blessed One thus: "Blessed One, this great vidyā-mantra, the root of the secret mantra called 'The Mother of Avalokiteśvara,' has been spoken in the past, will be spoken in the future, and is now spoken by the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones. Blessed One, when I was a Bodhisattva, seeking perfect enlightenment, I spoke it in the past for the sake of subduing all sentient beings, for their benefit, and for the sake of the benefit of Bodhisattvas. For sons or daughters of the Bodhisattva vehicle lineage, those who have become fathers, those who have become mothers, a refuge for those without refuge, a friend for those without friends, a protector for those without protectors, it has the power to exhaust all sins. As soon as one hears this dhāraṇī, all wishes will be completely fulfilled, and all vidyā-mantras will also be accomplished." The Blessed One said: "Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva, when I was a Bodhisattva in the past, seeking perfect enlightenment, beyond even the furthest reaches of worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, there is a world called Sukhāvatī."

In that place, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, named Boundless Light, still dwells, lives, and exists, and also teaches the Dharma. In that assembly, there is a Brahmin named自在光 (Zìzài guāng, Ishvara Light), who has attained the third Bodhisattva ground. He proclaims the dharani called the Mother of Avalokiteshvara. This great vidya mantra queen is proclaimed, spoken, and taught from among many hundreds of thousands of Brahmins and countless billions of sentient beings. As soon as all of them hear this dharani, they are immediately liberated from all sins and downfalls, and they will remember their past lives. I remember. Speak of that Bodhisattva Mahasattva. In the future, in all world realms, for sentient beings who are afflicted and commit sins, who commit the five heinous crimes, countless billions of sins will be exhausted. They will be benefited and happy, and will become the protectors of those who have no protectors. I also grant and rejoice. The Blessed One said: Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Samantabhadra spoke these roots of the secret mantra of the great vidya mantra of the dharani called the Mother of Avalokiteshvara. Homage to the Three Jewels! Homage to the Blessed One, the Tathagata Boundless Light! Homage to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the noble Avalokiteshvara, who possesses great compassion! Having paid homage to them, I shall speak the root of the secret mantra of the great vidya mantra of the dharani called the Mother of the Noble Avalokiteshvara. May I accomplish this vidya! Tadyatha. 从一切怖畏中守护。若于三时念诵，则七日能见普贤菩萨。若以不散乱之心念诵，一月能示现圣观自在的广大无明自体，亦能见圣无量光佛。于菩提不退转。 亦能忆念前世，及能受持所闻。无论生于何处，皆不离圣法。能成大富饶。世尊如是宣说后，诸菩萨摩诃萨普贤菩萨，及诸菩萨，诸比丘，及一切具足之眷属皆欢喜，对世尊所说深生赞叹。《圣观自在王之母》陀罗尼圆满。印度堪布吉那弥扎、达那希拉，及校勘之译师班德耶谢德共同翻译、校勘，并以新旧语词修改后确定。 《圣观自在王之母》陀罗尼。

It protects from all fears. If recited at three times, one will see the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra in seven days. If recited with an undistracted mind, in one month, it will reveal the great ignorance self of the Noble Avalokiteśvara, and one will also see the Noble Amitabha. One will not regress from Bodhi. One will also remember past lives and be able to retain what is heard. Wherever one is born, one will not be separated from the holy Dharma. One will become greatly prosperous. After the Bhagavan spoke thus, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Samantabhadra, and those Bodhisattvas, those monks, and all the retinue with all, rejoiced and praised the Bhagavan's words. The Dharani called "The Mother of Noble Avalokiteśvara" is complete. Translated and edited by the Indian Abbot Jinamitra, Danashila, and the Lotsawa Bande Yeshede of Zhuchen, and finalized after being revised with old and new words.
