Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard. At one time, the Blessed One was dwelling in Rajagriha on Vulture Peak Mountain, together with a great Sangha of monks, twelve hundred and fifty in number, and all Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. Then, the Blessed One spoke to the venerable Ananda: Ananda, whoever holds the essence of the Lord of Assemblies, the Lord of Hosts, all their actions will be accomplished. By holding it, needs will be fulfilled, and all mantras will also become siddhis. Tadyatha. Namo stute maha ganapataye svaha. Om kata kata. mata mata. dara dara. bidara bidara. hana hana. grihna grihna. dhava dhava. bhanja bhanja. stambha stambha. jambha jambha. moha moha. dehi dehi. dapaya dapaya. dhana dhanya siddhimme prayaccha. Samaya manusmara maha rudra vacaniye svaha. Om kuru kuru svaha. Om suru suru svaha. Om muru muru svaha. Om papa shanti vasu pushtim kuru svaha. Angguta bindu kshubhita citta maha vidara samagacchati. Ananda, whether it be a son of good family, or a daughter of good family, a monk, or a nun, a male lay follower, or a female lay follower, whoever writes and practices this essence of the Lord of Assemblies, the Lord of Hosts, offers to the Three Jewels, goes to another place, or enters the retinue of the royal palace, makes offerings of flowers and incense to the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, and recites this essence of the Lord of Assemblies, all actions will be accomplished, do not doubt this. In all fights, disputes, bloodshed, and local conflicts, if one remembers this essence, everything will be completely pacified.

If one rises in the morning and recites it in the same way, one will retain what one has heard. All yakshas, rakshasas, and dakinis will not steal one's radiance, and will completely abandon one from afar. After the Blessed One spoke thus, that assembly, complete with all, and the world with gods, humans, asuras, and gandharvas rejoiced and praised what the Blessed One had said.
