The Noble Manjushri's One Hundred and Eight Names The Noble Manjushri's One Hundred and Eight Names In Sanskrit: Arya Manjushri Nama Ashtashataka In Tibetan: The Noble Manjushri's One Hundred and Eight Names. Homage to youthful Manjushri! With an extremely pure mind, I bow with my head to the Able One, and here I will recite the names praised by the Buddhas. Beautiful in form and possessing splendor, the most supreme of all forms, all names completely perfect, Manjushri is the most excellent of glories. Inconceivable, beyond thought, power immeasurable, wondrous, body, speech, and activity are inconceivable, likewise, mind is also inconceivable. Possessing the nature of meditating on emptiness, truly endowed with the Dharma of emptiness, particularly fond of emptiness, showing the three realms as empty. Knowing all and seeing all, possessing the lordship of all lands, the most supreme of all beings, revered by all beings. Likewise, destroying all bad destinies, and all non-Buddhists, cutting off the nets of opposing views, the lion of speech, the most excellent of humans. Tamed and free from all afflictions, without any stains or impurities, completely protecting all beings, liberating and causing the world to be liberated. Hair in a Munja ascetic style, Brahma residing in the abode of Brahma, holding a rosary and carrying a staff, pure and possessing purity. Possessing the power of gentle speech, born from a lotus, lotus eyes, like the color of a lotus stamen, the seat on which he sits is a lotus throne, holding a pure blue lotus. Possessing a pure mind, possessing a peaceful heart, you are a Buddha, a self-born Buddha, you are the primordial Buddha, possessing miracles and attaining power, the one who teaches the four truths. The protector of the world, possessing a thousand eyes, you are Ishvara, the lord of beings, you are peaceful sentient beings, the master of all, the chief of virtues. You are the supreme bull, the lord of beings, the eldest brother, thus remembering lifetimes, the guide and the tamer, the prince, born from the Victorious One. You are the sun with a thousand rays of light, you are the moon, and you are also Jupiter, the son of Vaishravana.

And also the water god to you! Great powerful one, pervading one to you! Naga king, boundless one to you! Likewise, army leader, subduer to you! Non-god lord, weaver of copper-colored patterns! Mars, holding an umbrella! Saturn, hero, all the gods to you! All the gods pay homage to you! World, free from the stain of Dharma! You are the most excellent person in the world! World knower, world wise one! Most supreme among those with wisdom! Supreme one, is generosity, place, and refuge. Not deceived by the works of demons! Without fault, profound! Virtuous friend, universally renowned! You are the doctor, extracting the poisonous arrow! Supreme one who tames the untamed! Possessing intelligence and possessing realization! Possessing intelligence and being wise to you! You are the wish-fulfilling tree of merit! Bodhi branches adorned with flowers! Abundant with the fruit of liberation! Become the most supreme of all sentient beings! Pleasing and captivating! Without sin, practicing celibacy! You are the most supreme star among comets! You are the sage, the most victorious one! If one remembers the excellent names, then whatever unbearable deeds one has done, such as the five heinous crimes or equal ones, all of them will be quickly purified. When transferring to another world, or when great fears arise, if sentient beings remember with a pure mind, they will also attain the voice of Mañjuśrī. If one with intelligence remembers and recites from a निश्चित place, even if one desires to become a Buddha, one will attain it, there is no doubt about this.
