In Tibetan: The Noble Sutra for the Complete Pacification of Hemorrhoids. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard. Once, the Blessed One was dwelling in Rajagriha, in the Bamboo Grove, the Garden where the Kalandaka birds reside, together with a great Sangha of five hundred monks. Then, on the fifteenth day of the Uposatha, the full moon day, the Blessed One sat on the seat prepared before the Sangha. At that time, the venerable Ananda was standing beside the Blessed One, holding a fan and fanning the Blessed One. Then, the venerable Ananda arranged his upper robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and, with his palms joined together, bowed towards the Blessed One and said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, in this Rajagriha, many monks with hemorrhoids are afflicted by the disease of hemorrhoids, and are experiencing unbearable, intense suffering, discomfort, and unpleasant feelings. Venerable Blessed One, what should I do for them?" After he had spoken thus, the Blessed One said to the venerable Ananda: "Ananda, you should recite this sutra for eliminating hemorrhoids. Ananda, whoever knows the name, words, and letters of the sutra for eliminating hemorrhoids will not be afflicted by the disease of hemorrhoids for as long as they live. They will remember their previous lives for up to seven lifetimes." The mantra is: Tadyatha. Alante. Amale. Shavali Tsini Kushe Sambhave Svaha. Ananda, for example, in the north there is a mountain king called the Snow Mountain, and there is a sala tree there called Pervading Victory, which has three flowers: one is called Increasing, the second is called Gentle, and the third is called Dry. Just as it has dried up, may the wind hemorrhoids of sentient beings dry up, may the bile hemorrhoids dry up, may the phlegm hemorrhoids dry up.

May the unclean boils dry up! May the blood boils dry up! May the accumulated boils dry up! Likewise, may the phlegm boils of myself and all sentient beings dry up! May the unclean boils dry up! May the blood boils dry up! May the accumulated boils dry up! May the nose boils dry up! May the hanging boils dry up! Tadyatha. Shame shame mane. Shame shame mane svaha. May it not become sick! May it not become stiff! May it not make a sound! May it not drip! May it not be painful! May it not be extremely painful! May it not leak! May it not leak extremely! May it be exhausted here, completely exhausted, and disappear! Go under the earth! Namo bhagavate. Buddhaya satyavadinam. Siddhyantu mantra padaye svaha. After the Bhagavan spoke thus, the venerable Ananda rejoiced and praised the words spoken by the Bhagavan. This is the ritual: After accomplishing this by reading, recite it seven times on a red thread, tie seven knots, and wear it around the neck.
