In Tibetan language: The Noble Dhāraṇī that Saves from the Eight Great Fears. I prostrate to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! I prostrate to the Tathāgata, the source of qualities! I prostrate to the Tathāgata, all-pervading fragrance! I prostrate to the Tathāgata, who possesses strength that cannot be overcome by others! I prostrate to the Tathāgata, who completely eliminates all obscurations! I prostrate to the Tathāgata, the supreme moon! I prostrate to the Tathāgata, the king of peace! I prostrate to the Tathāgata, the moon master! I prostrate to the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva, who possesses great compassion and bestows fearlessness! Tadyathā. Dhare dhare. Dhāre dhāraṇi. Raṇa kote abhayā kalpe. Kalpe ni gaṇi. Ananta kalpe. Amṛta kalpe. Hutāśare. Ananta mukhe. Ananta cakṣu samudgate. Oṃ bha svāhā! Son of good family, these secret mantras of the dhāraṇī are for the benefit of sentient beings who go to the lower realms. They have been spoken, blessed, and rejoiced in by as many Buddhas, Bhagavat, as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River. Son of good family, any Bodhisattva who holds this dhāraṇī will be completely liberated from the eight fears, namely, the fear of the hell of uninterrupted suffering, the fear of the birth place of animals of uninterrupted suffering, the fear of the Lord of Death, the fear of ghosts, the fear of difficult paths, the fear of birth, the fear of disease, and the fear of death. The Buddhas, Bhagavat, of the ten directions will remember him. He will die without mental distraction and will be born in the presence of the Buddhas.
