Tathagataya. Arhate Samyaksambuddhaya. Tadyatha. Om Suru Suru. Prasuru Prasuru. Tara Tara. Bhara Bhara. Sambhara Sambhara. Smara Smara. Santarpaya Santarpaya. Sarva Pretanam Svaha. Having recited this dharani seven times over dough mixed with water, and having rung a bell three times with the left hand, it should be given to all hungry ghosts in a secluded place. And this should also be said: Those seeking opportunities and those looking for gaps, depart! I give this food to all the hungry ghosts dwelling in all realms of the world. It should be given before eating. Thus, each of the hungry ghosts will be given a large measure of rice. By doing so, one will not become weak from birth to birth. One will not become poor. One will become strong, beautiful, pleasing to see, rich and enjoy great abundance. One will be long-lived and free from illness, and will quickly attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Even after death, one will be born in the realm of Sukhavati. The Dharani called "Good Form" is complete. The Dharani called Surupa.
