Thus have I heard. At one time, the Bhagavan was dwelling on the summit of Mount Meru, in the night abode of all the gods, together with many hundreds of thousands of millions of kotis of Bodhisattvas. Then, the Bhagavan, together with the gods, sons of gods, asuras, wind gods, sky-goers, nāgas, yakshas, kimnaras, rakshasas, all vidyādharas, bhūtas, heretics, flesh-eaters, those who appear, and the hosts of mothers who do not appear, exceedingly numerous and vast, gathered in a mandala of five yojanas. Also, twelve hundred and fifty bhikshus were surrounding and attending, teaching the Dharma. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Vajrapāṇi, surrounded by all the Vajra families, and all the assemblies of vidyās and mudrās, and surrounded by many hundreds of thousands of vidyādharas, went to where the Bhagavan was. Having arrived, he descended from the sky, bowed his head at the feet of the Bhagavan, circumambulated the Bhagavan three times, and then sat down on one side. Then, the Bhagavan spoke to the great secret lord, Vajrapāṇi: "Secret Lord, these twenty-five doors are the doors of my Prajñāpāramitā." Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas!
