བཞི་བཅུ་བརྒྱད་པ། ངང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ལྷར་སྐྱེས་པའི་ལེའུ། བཞི་བཅུ་བརྒྱད་པ། ངང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ལྷར་སྐྱེས་པའི་ལེའུ། འདི་སྐད་བདག་གིས་ཐོས་པའི་དུས་གཅིག་ན། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཡུལ་་་ཌ་་ན་བཞུགས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཚལ་ཞིག་གི་ནང་ནེའུ་གསིང་ དང་ལྡན་པ་ཞིག་ན་ལྷ་དང་མི་དང་འཁོར་རྣམ་བཞི་ལ་དམ་པའི་ཆོས་སྟོན་ཏོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་སྟེང་གི་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་བྱ་ངང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་ཞིག་འཕུར་བ་ལས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་གསུང་སྙན་པ་ཐོས་ནས་དགའ་ཞིང་མོས་ཏེ་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་ལྟིང་ཞིང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་སྤྱན་སྔར་འབབས་པར་འདོད་པ་ལས། དེའི་ཚེ་རྔོན་པ་དག་ཅིག་གིས་ཕྱོགས་དེར་བྱ་རྒྱ་དྲེས་ཏེ་ངང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་བྱ་རྒྱས་ཟིན་ནས་རྔོན་པས་བསད་པ་དང་། ཐམས་ཅད་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་གྱི་ལྷའི་རིས་སུ་ཕ་མའི་པུས་མོའི་སྟེང་ནས་ཁྱེའུ་ལོ་བརྒྱད་ལོན་པ་ཙམ་དུ་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། བྱད་གཟུགས་བཟང་བ་བལྟ་ན་སྡུག་པ་འོད་ཟེར་གྱིས་ཀུན་ཏུ་སྣང་བ། གསེར་གྱི་རི་ལྟར་གསལ་ཞིང་དག་པར་གྱུར་ནས། དེ་དག་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཅིའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་ལྷར་སྐྱེས་སྙམ་བསམས་པ་དང་། སྔོན་གྱི་གནས་དྲན་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །ཆོས་གསུང་བའི་སྒྲ་ཐོས་ནས་ལྷར་སྐྱེས་པར་རིག་ནས། དེ་དག་གི་ཚེ་ནམ་མཁའ་ལས་འབབས་ཏེ། ལྷ་རྫས་ཀྱི་མེ་ཏོག་དང་སྤོས་ལ་སོགས་པ་ཐོགས་ནས། འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་གི་ཡུལ་བཱ་རཱ་ཎ་སཱི་ན་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་གང་ན་བཞུགས་པར་ལྷགས་སོ། །ལྷའི་འོད་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་བཞུགས་པའི་གནས་ཀུན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ལྟར་སྣང་བར་བྱས་ནས་དུས་གཅིག་ཏུ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ནས། ཐལ་མོ་སྦྱར་ཏེ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །བདག་ཅག་གིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཆོས་སྟོན་པའི་གསུང་ཐོས་པ་ཙམ་གྱིས་ཀྱང་ལྷའི་གནས་དམ་པར་སྐྱེས་ཀྱི། ད་ཡང་བདག་ཅག་ལ་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་བའི་སླད་དུ་དམ་པའི་ཆོས་སྟོན་ཅིག་ཅེས་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བདེན་པ་བཞིའི་ཆོས་བསྟན་ཏེ། ལྷ་དེ་དག་གིས་རྟོགས་ནས་རྒྱུན་དུ་ཞུགས་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་ཐོབ་བོ། །དེ་དག་དེ་ཕྱིན་ཅད་ངན་སོང་གསུམ་དུ་མི་ལྟུང་བར་གྱུར་ཏེ། ཕྱིར་ལྷའི་རིས་སུ་དོང་ནས་སྐྱེ་བ་བདུན་གྱི་བར་དུ་ཟག་པ་ཀུན་ཟད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ། མདང་སུམ་ལྷ་དག་གི་འོད་ཟེར་གྱིས་ཀུན་ནས་སྣང་བར་བགྱིས་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་དུ་ལྷགས་པའི་ལྷ་དེ་དག་གང་ནས་མཆིས་པ་བསྟན་དུ་གསོལ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཁྱོད་ལེགས་པར་ཉོན་ལ་ཡིད་ལ་ཟུང་ཤིག་དང་ངས་བསྟན་པར་བྱའོ། །ང་ཁར་རྩང་ཚལ་ཞིག་གི་ནང་ན་ལྷ་དང་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ འཁོར་བཞི་ལ་ཆོས་བསྟན་པའི་ཚེ་ངང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་ཞིག་ཆོས་གསུང་བའི་སྒྲ་ལ་དད་ནས། ང་ལ་དགའ་བའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དེ། ངའི་ཐད་དུ་འོངས་པ་ལས། མ་ཕྱིན་པར་རྔོན་པས་ཟིན་ཏེ་ཐམས་ཅད་བསད་པ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྒྲ་ལ་དད་པའི་སེམས་ཀྱིས་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་པའི་ལྷའི་རིས་སུ་སྐྱེས་ནས། སྔོན་གྱི་གནས་དྲན་པས་ང་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་དུ་འོངས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་གསུངས་པ་ཐོས་ནས། རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་མགུ་རངས་ཏེ་ངོ་མཚར་རྨད་དོ་ཞེས་བསྔགས་ནས། འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་གཤེགས་པ་ནི་ངོ་མཚར་རྨད་དེ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་ཆར་གྱིས་མ་ངོམས་པ་མ་མཆིས་སོ། །ཆུང་ངུ་ན་དུད་འགྲོའི་སྐྱེ་གནས་ལྟ་བུ་ཡང་ཆོས་ཐོས་ནས་བསོད་ནམས་ཐོབ་ན་མི་ལྟ་ཞིག་ཅི་སྨོས་ཏེ། དད་པའི་སེམས་ཀྱིས་གཟུངས་སུ་གཟུང་བའི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱི་འབྲས་བུ་བས་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་གིས་ལྷག་སྟེ་དཔེར་བགྱིར་མ་མཆིས་སོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ལ་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ལེགས་སོ་ལེགས་སོ། །ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ་བཞིན་དུ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་གཤེགས་པ་ནི། ཀུན་ལ་ཕན་པ་དང་བདེ་བའི་དོན་དུ་གྱུར་ཏེ། ཀུན་ཏུ་བདུད་རྩིའི་ཆར་ཕབ་ནས་འགྲོ་བ་མང་པོ་ངོམས་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་བས་ན་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་སེམས་རྩེ་གཅིག་ཏུ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་ལ་ནན་ཏན་གྱིས་ཤིག།བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་གསུངས་ནས། ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་དང་འཁོར་མང་པོ་རྣམས་རྗེས་སུ་ཡི་རངས་ནས་མངོན་པར་དགའོ། །ངང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ལྷར་སྐྱེས་པའི་ལེའུ་སྟེ། བཞི་བཅུ་བརྒྱད་པའོ།། །། བཞི་བཅུ་བརྒྱད་པ། ངང་པ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ལྷར་སྐྱེས་པའི་ལེའུ།

第四十八，五百天鹅转生为天人的章节。 第四十八，五百天鹅转生为天人的章节。 如是我闻，一时，世尊住在……（此处藏文原文有省略）地方。当时，世尊在一个长满嫩草的园林中，为天、人以及四众眷属宣讲殊胜的佛法。当时，空中飞来大约五百只天鹅，听到世尊美妙的声音，心生欢喜和敬仰，便在空中盘旋，想要降落在世尊面前。这时，一些猎人在那个方向张设了罗网，大约五百只天鹅被罗网捕获，被猎人杀害。它们全部转生到三十三天，在父母的膝上化生为八岁左右的童子，容貌端庄，赏心悦目，光芒四射，如同金山般明亮洁净。它们心想：是何因缘使我等转生为天人？思索之后，回忆起了前世。得知是听闻佛法之声而转生为天人后，它们立即从天空降下，手持天界的鲜花和香等供品，来到赡部洲的波罗奈斯（Varanasi，今印度的瓦拉纳西），世尊所在之处。天人的光芒将世尊居住的地方照耀得如同珍宝一般。它们同时以头顶礼世尊的双足，合掌恭敬地说道：我等仅仅听闻世尊宣讲佛法之声，便已转生到殊胜的天界。如今，为了怜悯我等，请再次宣讲殊胜的佛法。世尊为他们宣讲了四圣谛之法，这些天人领悟后，获得了入流果。它们自此之后不再堕入三恶道，并在天界往返七次，最终漏尽烦恼。之后，阿难向世尊禀告道：昨天，那些以光芒照亮一切，并前来顶礼世尊双足的天人，是从何处而来？世尊开示道：你仔细听着。

Thus I have heard, at one time, the Blessed One was dwelling in the land of... (Tibetan original has omissions here). At that time, the Blessed One was teaching the sacred Dharma to gods, humans, and the fourfold assembly in a garden filled with lush grass. At that time, about five hundred swans were flying in the sky above. Hearing the Blessed One's melodious voice, they rejoiced and were filled with devotion, circling in the sky. They desired to descend before the Blessed One. At that time, some hunters had set up nets in that direction, and about five hundred swans were caught in the nets and killed by the hunters. All of them were reborn in the heaven of the Thirty-three, appearing on their parents' laps as boys of about eight years old. Their appearances were beautiful, pleasing to behold, and radiant with light, shining and pure like golden mountains. They wondered, "What is the cause that we have been reborn as devas?" After contemplating, they remembered their previous lives. Realizing that they had been reborn as devas by hearing the sound of the Dharma being taught, they immediately descended from the sky, carrying celestial flowers and incense, and arrived in the land of Jambudvipa, in Varanasi (modern-day Varanasi, India), where the Blessed One was residing. The light of the devas illuminated the place where the Blessed One was staying, making it appear like a treasure. At the same time, they bowed their heads at the feet of the Blessed One, and with palms joined, they said, "We have been reborn in the sacred realm of the gods merely by hearing the Blessed One's voice teaching the Dharma. Now, out of compassion for us, please teach the sacred Dharma again." The Blessed One taught them the Dharma of the Four Noble Truths, and those devas, having understood it, attained the fruit of stream-entry. From then on, they were no longer subject to falling into the three lower realms, and after returning to the realm of the gods seven times, they finally exhausted all defilements. Then, Ananda reported to the Blessed One, "Yesterday, those devas who illuminated everything with their light and came to prostrate at the feet of the Blessed One, from where did they come?" The Blessed One replied, "Listen carefully.

Once, in the garden of Kharatsang, when I was teaching the Dharma to the fourfold assembly of gods and humans, about five hundred geese, out of faith in the sound of the Dharma being spoken, generated a joyful mind towards me and came towards me. But before they arrived, they were caught by a hunter and all killed. Due to their faith in the sound of the Dharma, they were reborn in the realm of the Thirty-Three (Trayastriṃśa) gods, and remembering their previous lives, came to pay homage to me. Then, Ananda, having heard what the Blessed One said, rejoiced greatly and praised it, exclaiming, "It is truly rare and wonderful! The Blessed One's descent into the world is truly rare and wonderful, for there is no one who is not satisfied by the rain of the Dharma." Even a creature like an animal in its youth, upon hearing the Dharma, can obtain merit, what need is there to mention humans? The fruit of merit obtained by holding it in mind with a faithful heart is hundreds and thousands of times greater, beyond comparison. The Blessed One said to Ananda, "Well said, well said! Just as you have said, the Blessed One's descent into the world is for the benefit and happiness of all, raining down nectar everywhere and satisfying many beings. Therefore, you should diligently apply yourself to the Buddha's teachings with a single mind." After the Blessed One spoke thus, Ananda and the many attendants rejoiced and were exceedingly happy.
