བཞི་བཅུ་བཞི་པ། སངས་རྒྱས་ཐོག་མ་བྱམས་པའི་ཐུགས་བསྐྱེད་པའི་ལེའུ། བཞི་བཅུ་བཞི་པ། སངས་རྒྱས་ཐོག་མ་བྱམས་པའི་ཐུགས་བསྐྱེད་པའི་ལེའུ། འདི་སྐད་བདག་གིས་ཐོས་པའི་དུས་གཅིག་ན། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མཉན་ཡོད་ན། རྒྱལ་བུ་རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཚལ་མགོན་མེད་ཟས་སྦྱིན་གྱི་ཀུན་དགའ་ར་བ་ན་བཞུགས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་དགེ་སློང་དག་དབྱར་ཚུལ་ལས་བྱུང་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ནས་སྙུན་མི་མངའ་འམ་ཞེས་སྙུན་གསོལ་ཏོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་བྱམས་པའི་ཐུགས་ཀྱིས་སྤྲོ་བ་བསྐྱེད་དེ། དགེ་སློང་ཁྱོད་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བར་མ་གྱུར་ཏམ། ཞེས་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་ཞིང་བྱམས་པའི་ཐུགས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ་དང་། ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །འདི་ལྟར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགེ་སློང་དག་ལ་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་ཞིང་བྱམས་པའི་ཐུགས་བསྐྱེད་ནས་ཡུན་ཅི་སྲིད་ཅིག་ལགས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཀུན་ དགའ་བོ་ལ་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཁྱོད་ཤེས་པར་འདོད་ན་ཁྱོད་ལ་བསྟན་པར་བྱའོ། །སྔོན་འདས་པའི་དུས་བསྐལ་པ་གྲངས་མེད་པ་བརྗོད་དུ་མེད་པའི་ཕ་རོལ་ན། སྡིག་པ་བྱས་པའི་མི་གཉིས་ཤིག་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བར་ལྟུང་སྟེ། དམྱལ་བའི་སྲུང་མས་ལྕགས་ཀྱི་ཤིང་རྟ་འདྲེན་དུ་བཅུག་ནས། ལྕགས་ཐོས་བརྡེགས་ཏེ། ཕན་ཚུན་དུ་མི་དལ་བར་རྒྱུག་ཏུ་བཅུག་གོ །དེ་ལ་མི་གཅིག་སྟོབས་ཆུང་སྟེ། འདྲེན་མ་ནུས་ནས་འདུག་པ་དང་། ལྕགས་ཀྱི་ཐོ་བས་བརྡེགས་ཏེ། ཚེ་བརྗེས་ནས་ཕྱིར་སོས་སོ། །གྲོགས་པོ་གཅིག་གིས་དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་མཐོང་ནས། བྱམས་ཤིང་སྙིང་རྗེ་བའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དོ། །དམྱལ་བའི་སྲུང་མ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །བདག་འབའ་ཞིག་གིས་ཤིང་རྟ་འདི་དྲང་གིས་མི་འདི་ཐོང་ཤིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། སྲུང་མ་ཁྲོས་ནས་ལྕགས་ཀྱི་ཐོ་བས་བརྡེགས་ཏེ། དེར་ཚེ་འཕོས་པ་དང་། སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་གྱི་ལྷར་སྐྱེས་སོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་དེའི་ཚེ་དེའི་དུས་ན་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་ན་འདུག་པ་ལས། བྱམས་ཞིང་སྙིང་བརྩེ་བའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པ་དེ་ནི་ད་ལྟར་ང་ཡིན་ནོ། །ངས་དེའི་ཚེ་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་ན་དེ་ལ་ཐོག་མར་སྙིང་བརྩེ་བའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དེ། སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་ཡང་ད་ཙམ་གྱི་བར་དུ་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་ཞིང་བྱམས་པའི་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་དང་འཁོར་མང་པོ་རྣམས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་གསུངས་པ་ལ་རྗེས་སུ་ཡི་རངས་ནས་མངོན་པར་དགའོ། །སངས་རྒྱས་ཐོག་མ་བྱམས་པའི་ཐུགས་བསྐྱེད་པའི་ལེའུ་སྟེ་བཞི་བཅུ་བཞི་པའོ།། །། བཞི་བཅུ་བཞི་པ། སངས་རྒྱས་ཐོག་མ་བྱམས་པའི་ཐུགས་བསྐྱེད་པའི་ལེའུ།

第四十四品，最初佛陀慈氏发心的章节。 第四十四品，最初佛陀慈氏发心的章节。 如是我闻，一时，世尊在舍卫城，胜子园，给孤独长者的祇陀林中安住。当时，众比丘结束夏安居后，前往世尊所在之处，顶礼世尊，问候是否安康。世尊也以慈爱之心令他们欢喜，说道：比丘们，你们没有受苦吧？以非常慈悲和慈爱的语气开示。阿难向世尊禀告说：如此，世尊您以慈悲和慈爱之心对待比丘们，已经有多久了呢？世尊告诉阿难：如果你想知道，我就告诉你。过去，在无数不可言说的劫之前，有两个作恶之人堕入众生地域。地狱的狱卒让他们拉铁车，敲打铁锤，让他们互相不停地奔跑。其中一人力气小，拉不动车，停了下来，狱卒用铁锤击打他，他死去后又复活。他的朋友看到他遭受如此痛苦，生起了慈爱和怜悯之心。他对狱卒说：让我一个人拉这辆车，放了他吧。狱卒愤怒地用铁锤击打他，他当场死去，转生到三十三天。阿难，那时那刻，在地狱中的众生，生起慈爱和怜悯之心的那个人，就是现在的我。我当时在地狱中，最初对他生起了怜悯之心，直到现在，也一直对一切众生怀有慈悲和慈爱之心。阿难和众多眷属对世尊所说的话深感欢喜，并信受奉行。最初佛陀慈氏发心的章节完毕。

Thus I have heard, at one time, the Blessed One was dwelling in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, in the Garden of Anathapindika. At that time, the monks, having emerged from the summer retreat, went to where the Blessed One was, and having arrived, prostrated to the Blessed One and inquired about his well-being, asking if he was free from illness. The Blessed One, with a mind of loving-kindness, gladdened them, saying: Monks, have you not suffered? He spoke with great compassion and loving-kindness. Then Ananda said to the Blessed One: How long has it been, Blessed One, that you have cherished the monks with compassion and loving-kindness? The Blessed One said to Ananda: If you wish to know, I will tell you. In the past, countless inexpressible eons ago, two wicked men fell into the hell of sentient beings. The guards of hell made them pull iron chariots, striking iron hammers, and made them run back and forth without rest. One of them was weak and unable to pull the chariot, so he stopped. The guards struck him with an iron hammer, and he died and was revived. One of his friends, seeing such suffering, generated a mind of loving-kindness and compassion. He said to the guards of hell: Let me pull this chariot alone, release this man. The guards, enraged, struck him with an iron hammer, and he died on the spot and was reborn in the Heaven of the Thirty-Three. Ananda, at that time, at that moment, the sentient being in hell who generated a mind of loving-kindness and compassion, that is me now. At that time, in the hell of sentient beings, I first generated a mind of compassion for him, and even now, I cherish all sentient beings with compassion and loving-kindness. Ananda and the many attendants rejoiced and were delighted at the words of the Blessed One. The Chapter on the Initial Bodhicitta of Maitreya, the First Buddha, is complete.
