ཟླ་བའི་མདོ། ཟླ་བའི་མདོ། རྒྱ་གར་སྐད་དུ། ཙནྡྲ་སཱུ་ཏྲ། བོད་སྐད་དུ། ཟླ་བའི་མདོ། དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །འདི་སྐད་བདག་གིས་ཐོས་པ་དུས་གཅིག་ན། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཡུལ་ཙམ་པ་ཅན་ན་འགྲོ་བ་པོའི་རྫིང་བུའི་འགྲམ་ན་བཞུགས་ཏེ། དེའི་ཚེ་ལྷ་མ་ཡིན་གྱི་དབང་པོ་སྒྲ་གཅན་གྱིས་ཟླ་བའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ཐམས་ཅད་འོད་ཀྱིས་བཀབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་ཟླ་བའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ན་གནས་པའི་ལྷ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་སྐྲག་ཅིང་དངངས་ལ་མི་དགའ་བར་གྱུར་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ་ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདུག་གོ །ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདུག་ནས་ལྷ་དེས་དེའི་ཚེ་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་དེ་གསོལ་པ། ཀུན་ལས་རྣམ་པར་རབ་གྲོལ་བའི། །སངས་རྒྱས་དཔའ་བོ་ཁྱོད་ཕྱག་འཚལ། །གནོད་པ་དག་དང་ཕྲད་གྱུར་པ། །བདག་གི་སྐྱབས་ནི་མཛད་པར་གསོལ། །འཇིག་རྟེན་དགྲ་བཅོམ་བདེ་གཤེགས་ལ། །ཟླ་བ་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི་ལགས་ཀྱིས། །སངས་རྒྱས་འཇིག་རྟེན་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་རྣམས། །ཟླ་བ་ཐར་མཛོད་སྒྲ་གཅན་ལས། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། །སྒྲ་གཅན་ཟླ་བ་མུན་སེལ་བ། །ནམ་མཁའ་དག་ལ་འོད་བྱེད་ཅིང་། །ལམ་མེར་འདུག་ལ་དཀར་ བ་དང་། རྣམ་པར་དག་པའི་འོད་ལྡན་པ། །བར་སྣང་དག་ལ་མ་བཟུང་བར། །སྐྱེ་དགུའི་སྒྲོན་དེ་མྱུར་དུ་ཐོང་། །དེ་ནས་རིངས་བཞིན་སྒྲ་གཅན་དེ། །ལུས་ཀྱང་རྔུལ་ཅིང་སྐྲག་གྱུར་ལ། །ནད་པ་བཞིན་དུ་བརྟད་པ་ཡིས། །ཟླ་བ་རྣམ་པར་གཏོང་བར་བྱེད། །དེ་ནས་རྣམ་པར་སྣང་བྱེད་ཀྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོས་ལྷ་མ་ཡིན་གྱི་དབང་པོ་སྒྲ་གཅན་རིངས་པ་བས་ཀྱང་རིངས་པར་ཟླ་བའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་བཏང་བ་མཐོང་ངོ་། །མཐོང་ནས་ཀྱང་དེའི་ཚེ་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་དེ་སྨྲས་པ། ཅི་ཡི་ཕྱིར་ན་སྒྲ་གཅན་ཁྱོད། །ལུས་ཀྱང་རྔུལ་ཅིང་སྐྲག་གྱུར་ལ། །ནད་པ་བཞིན་དུ་བརྟད་པ་ཡིས། །རིངས་པར་ཟླ་བ་གཏོང་བར་བྱེད། །སྒྲ་གཅན་གྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། སངས་རྒྱས་ཚིགས་བཅད་འདི་བརྗོད་པས། །གལ་ཏེ་ཟླ་བ་མ་བཏང་ན། །བདག་གི་མགོ་བོ་ཚལ་བདུན་འགས། །གསོན་ཡང་བདེ་བར་མི་འགྱུར་རོ། །རྣམ་པར་སྣང་བྱེད་ཀྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། ཀྱེ་མ་བདེན་པ་གཟིགས་པ་ཡི། །སངས་རྒྱས་རྣམས་ནི་འབྱུང་བ་རྨད། །དེ་དག་གིས་ནི་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད། །བརྗོད་ན་སྒྲ་གཅན་ཟླ་བ་གཏོང་། །ཟླ་བའི་མདོ་རྫོགས་སོ།། །། ཟླ་བའི་མདོ།

月亮经。 月亮经。 印度语：旃陀罗苏扎。藏语：月亮经。顶礼三宝！如是我闻，一时，世尊在瞻波城的行者池边安住。当时，阿修罗王罗睺以光芒覆盖了整个月轮。之后，住在月轮中的天神感到恐惧、惊慌且不悦，便前往世尊所在之处，以头顶礼世尊之足，然后坐于一旁。坐于一旁后，那位天神在那时以偈颂祈请道：从一切中彻底解脱的，佛陀勇士，我向您顶礼！与损害相遇的，祈请您作我的救护！对世间阿罗汉、善逝，月亮我前去寻求救护。诸佛世间慈悲者，请从罗睺手中解救月亮！世尊开示道：罗睺，月亮能消除黑暗，在清净的虚空中发光，明亮而洁白，具有清净的光芒，不被束缚于虚空之中，迅速放开众生的明灯！之后，罗睺立刻身体流汗，感到恐惧，像病人一样颤抖，释放了月亮。之后，遍照之子大菩萨看到阿修罗王罗睺比之前更快地释放了月轮。看到后，在那时以偈颂说道：罗睺你为何，身体流汗，感到恐惧，像病人一样颤抖，迅速释放月亮？罗睺说道：因为念诵了佛陀的偈颂，如果我不释放月亮，我的头颅将裂为七瓣，即使活着也不会安乐。遍照之子大菩萨说道：奇哉！见到真理的，诸佛出现真是稀有！他们念诵了偈颂，罗睺就释放了月亮。 月亮经圆满。

The Moon Sutra. The Moon Sutra. In Indian language: Chandra Sutra. In Tibetan language: The Moon Sutra. Homage to the Three Jewels! Thus I have heard, at one time, the Blessed One was dwelling near the Traveler's Pond in the city of Champa. At that time, the Asura King Rahu covered the entire lunar disc with light. Then, the deity residing in the lunar disc became frightened, alarmed, and displeased, and went to where the Blessed One was, prostrated with his head at the feet of the Blessed One, and sat to one side. Having sat to one side, that deity then beseeched in verse at that time: To the Buddha, the hero who is completely liberated from all, I prostrate! Having encountered harm, I beseech you to be my protector! To the World Honored One, the Sugata, the moon goes for refuge. Buddhas, compassionate ones of the world, please liberate the moon from Rahu! The Blessed One spoke: Rahu, the moon dispels darkness, shines in the pure sky, is bright and white, possesses pure light, is not bound in the sky, quickly release the lamp of beings! Then, immediately, Rahu's body sweated, and he became frightened, trembling like a sick person, and released the moon. Then, the great being, the son of Vairochana, saw that the Asura King Rahu had released the lunar disc even faster than before. Having seen this, he then spoke in verse at that time: Rahu, why do you, with your body sweating and frightened, trembling like a sick person, quickly release the moon? Rahu said: Because the Buddha's verses are recited, if I do not release the moon, my head will split into seven pieces, and even if I live, I will not be at peace. The great being, the son of Vairochana, said: How wonderful! The Buddhas who see the truth are a rare occurrence! When they recite the verses, Rahu releases the moon. The Moon Sutra is complete.
