圣四法经，名为大乘经。 圣四法经，名为大乘经。 印度语：Arya Caturdharma Sutra（梵文天城体：आर्यचतुर्धर्मसूत्र，梵文罗马拟音：āryacaturdharmasūtra，圣四法经）。藏语：圣四法经，名为大乘经。向一切佛和菩萨顶礼！如是我闻，一时，世尊在舍卫城，胜子园，给孤独长者的祇陀林中，与一千二百五十比丘的大比丘僧团，以及大菩萨众在一起。于是，世尊对比丘们说：比丘们，菩萨摩诃萨，对于这四法，乃至生命，也不应舍弃。何为四？比丘们，菩萨摩诃萨，乃至生命，也不应舍弃菩提心；比丘们，菩萨摩诃萨，乃至生命，也不应舍弃善知识；比丘们，菩萨摩诃萨，乃至生命，也不应舍弃忍辱和精进；比丘们，菩萨摩诃萨，乃至生命，也不应舍弃住在寂静处；比丘们，菩萨摩诃萨，乃至生命，也不应舍弃这四法。世尊如是说，善逝如是说已，导师又如是说：不舍一切智心，智者应生圆满菩提心。安住忍辱精进力，不应舍弃善知识。如鹿王般无畏惧，智者应常依止寂静处。若常安住于此等法，降伏诸魔而证菩提。世尊如是说已，彼等比丘和菩萨们。

The Noble Four Dharmas Sutra, called the Great Vehicle Sutra. The Noble Four Dharmas Sutra, called the Great Vehicle Sutra. In Indian language: Arya Caturdharma Sutra. In Tibetan: The Noble Four Dharmas Sutra, called the Great Vehicle Sutra. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus I have heard, at one time, the Blessed One was in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, in the garden of Anathapindika, together with a great Sangha of one thousand two hundred and fifty monks, and also with a great assembly of Bodhisattvas. Then, the Blessed One said to the monks: Monks, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should not abandon these four dharmas, even for the sake of life. What are the four? Monks, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should not abandon the Bodhicitta, even for the sake of life; Monks, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should not abandon the virtuous friend, even for the sake of life; Monks, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should not abandon patience and diligence, even for the sake of life; Monks, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should not abandon dwelling in solitary places, even for the sake of life; Monks, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should not abandon these four dharmas, even for the sake of life. The Blessed One said thus, the Sugata having spoken thus, the Teacher further said: Do not abandon the mind of omniscience, the wise should generate the perfect Bodhicitta. Abiding in the power of patience and diligence, one should not abandon the virtuous friend. Like the king of deer, without fear, the wise should always rely on solitary places.
