圣观自在请问法之七法经，名为大乘经。 圣观自在请问法之七法经，名为大乘经。 印度语：Āvalokiteśvaraparīpṛcchāsaptadharmanāmamahāyānasūtra。 藏语：圣观自在请问法之七法经，名为大乘经。 顶礼薄伽梵妙吉祥童子！ 如是我闻，一时，薄伽梵在王舍城鹫峰山，与一千二百五十比丘的比丘僧团大部，以及众多菩萨摩诃萨在一起。 之后，菩萨摩诃萨圣观自在从座位上起身，将上衣披于一肩，右膝着地，按压莲花中心，向薄伽梵所在之处合掌，对薄伽梵如是禀告： 薄伽梵，初发菩提心的菩萨应学何法？ 如是禀告后，薄伽梵对菩萨摩诃萨圣观自在如是说道： 善男子，初发菩提心的菩萨应学七法。 何为七？ 即：即使是分别念也不应依赖欲望，更何况是二根的交合？ 甚至在梦中也不应依赖恶知识；应以如鸟般的心不作任何执取；应以精通方便和智慧而不生傲慢和我执；应舍弃有和无，并具有稳固的空性解脱；不应以非真实的遍计识而对如幻如梦的轮回生起欢喜；不应诽谤因果。 善男子，初发菩提心的菩萨应学这七法。

Homage to the Bhagavan Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta! Thus have I heard. Once, the Bhagavan was dwelling in Rājagṛha on Vulture Peak Mountain, together with a great saṃgha of monks, twelve hundred and fifty monks, and also with a great many Bodhisattva-mahāsattvas. Then, the Bodhisattva-mahāsattva, the Noble Avalokiteśvara, arose from his seat, arranged his upper robe over one shoulder, pressed his right knee into the center of a lotus, and, with his palms joined, bowed down to where the Bhagavan was. He said to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, what dharma should a Bodhisattva who has just generated the mind of enlightenment train in?" Having said this, the Bhagavan spoke thus to the Bodhisattva-mahāsattva, the Noble Avalokiteśvara: "Son of good family, a Bodhisattva who has just generated the mind of enlightenment should train in seven dharmas. What are the seven? They are as follows: Even with conceptual thought, one should not rely on desire, so what need is there to mention the union of the two faculties? One should not rely on bad friends even in dreams; one should be without grasping with a mind like a bird; one should be without pride and self-grasping, being skilled in means and wisdom; one should abandon existence and non-existence and possess steadfast liberation in emptiness; one should not rejoice in saṃsāra, which is like an illusion and a dream, with knowledge of false imputation that is not truly real; one should not slander cause and effect. Son of good family, a Bodhisattva who has just generated the mind of enlightenment should train in these seven dharmas."

Thus spoke the Blessed One, and the Bodhisattva, the noble Avalokiteśvara, and those monks and those Bodhisattvas rejoiced and highly praised what the Blessed One had said.
