Then, the Blessed One again said to the youth Moonbeam: Youth, therefore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should strive to understand and comprehend the sounds and languages of all beings, and be able to distinguish the superiority and inferiority of their faculties, and then proclaim the Dharma to them. Youth, such a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should listen to, uphold, fully understand, memorize, read, diligently recite, accept and recite, cultivate with meditation free from afflictions, increase, and widely proclaim to others, this Samadhi that makes the nature of all dharmas equal and free from elaboration. Then, at that time, the Blessed One spoke these verses: If one desires liberation and holds this dust-free Samadhi, They will also see the immeasurable past guides. In the past, the Protector of the World diligently inquired, The Bodhisattva abides in, The root of supreme virtue. If one desires liberation and holds this dust-free Samadhi, The happiness of gods and humans, They will also be able to obtain. The supreme offerings of gods and humans, They will also be able to obtain, The bliss of meditation and the noble ones, Supreme bliss can also be obtained. If one desires liberation and holds this dust-free Samadhi, Even if they hear great praise, they will not rejoice, Even if they hear unpleasant words, they will not be discouraged, The eight worldly dharmas cannot move them, Like a mountain king, they are steadfast. If one desires liberation and holds this dust-free Samadhi, They speak good and gentle words, and possess gentle speech, Without anger, always honest, With a smiling face, they learn from the guides. If one desires liberation and holds this dust-free Samadhi, Associating with them brings peace and joy, becoming a gentle mind, Always gentle, abiding in gentleness, Speaking softly and joyfully, they say it is very pleasant. If one desires liberation and holds this dust-free Samadhi, Although they speak and converse, there is no arguing or fighting, They completely abandon hatred and jealousy, Always joyful and gentle in heart. If one desires liberation and holds this dust-free Samadhi, The wise are always fond of giving.

Becoming very joyful, seeing extremely suffering beings, he gives food. He is very fond of giving, and does not like to enjoy himself. If one who desires liberation takes hold of this meditation free from dust, Even hundreds of thousands of gods will develop a strong envy for him. Nagas, asuras, and yakshas will always serve him, Those dwelling in forests and forest edges will protect him. His speech is unobstructed, it is the voice of Brahma, It is the sound of a swan, the song of a kinnara. Five hundred branches of sound, it is a joyful sound, The proclamation of sound becomes the most excellent of extremely loud sounds. However many fields there are, some of those beings Even if they can know how to turn them into fine dust, But if someone practices this supreme dust-free meditation, His voice will become much more than that. If someone practices this dust-free meditation, He will obtain the ten powers, and will also obtain the eight and two grounds, The wise will obtain the inconceivable Buddha-dharma. Having subdued all the demons, he will realize the supreme enlightenment. This is the thirty-first chapter, the chapter on benefits. The thirty-first chapter, the chapter on benefits.
