Youth, for a diligent Bodhisattva Mahasattva, it is not difficult to attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, let alone this samadhi. Youth, how is a Bodhisattva Mahasattva diligent? Youth, here, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is completely pure in morality. Youth, how is a Bodhisattva Mahasattva completely pure in morality? Youth, here, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is completely pure in morality, not separated from the mind of omniscience, practicing the six perfections. Listen to these benefits, and I will tell them to you. Youth, the benefits of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva's devotion to giving are ten. What are the ten? Like this: His afflictions of stinginess are cut off. His mind is always increasing in generosity. He takes the essence from the enjoyment shared with many people. He is born into a family of great wealth, and as soon as he is born, the mind of giving manifests. He is compassionate and merciful to the four assemblies. He goes into the assembly without fear or hesitation. In all directions, the sound of his extensive speech appears in verses. His hands and feet are soft and young. The soles of his feet are even and well-placed. Until he sits at the heart of enlightenment, he will not be separated from virtuous friends. Youth, these are the ten benefits of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva's devotion to giving. To this, it is said: He cuts off stinginess, and also increases the mind of giving. 且无畏惧于眷属中， 不退缩而勇猛趋近。 城镇乡村诸处所， 其名声亦广为流传。 手足亦将变得柔和， 不再遭遇难得之事。 得遇佛陀与声闻， 亦能获得善知识。 悭吝之心永不生起， 其心恒常乐于布施。 怜悯无量百千众生， 此乃无悭吝之利益。 彼将投生富裕之家， 出生之后乐于布施。 摄取精华而临终， 此乃无悭吝之利益。 无所畏惧行于眷属中， 其名声亦广布于四方。 彼之手足恒常柔和， 此乃无悭吝之利益。 不难获得善知识， 彼将得见诸佛与声闻。 见已，以信心供养彼等， 此乃无悭吝之利益。 布施利益品第二十七终。 第二十七、布施利益品。

It is not difficult to obtain virtuous friends, He will see the Buddhas and Shravakas. Having seen them, he makes offerings to them with faith, These are the benefits of being without stinginess.
