第二十二品，授记品。 第二十二品，授记品。 此后，世尊又对月光童子说：童子，因此，希求此菩萨大士之三摩地，并欲迅速现证无上正等菩提者，不应贪执于身命。为何如此？童子，因贪执身命之故，众生将现行不善之业。童子，菩萨大士不贪执身命者，获得无上正等菩提亦不困难，何况此三摩地？童子，因此，亦不应贪执身命。如是汝应修学。其中应如是说： 常时对于充满脓液之此身， 孩童之辈极为贪执。 为执取命根且欲求安乐之故， 不智者恒常造作罪业。 谁对于无有心要之身命， 不具有过分贪执？ 彼等即能摧毁魔之军众， 于菩提树下彻悟菩提。 谁对于无我空性之诸身， 以及命如梦幻动摇如露珠， 于此二者将生起贪执， 彼等死后转生于地狱。 授记身品第二十二完毕。 第二十二品，授记品。

Chapter 22: The Chapter on Predictions Chapter 22: The Chapter on Predictions Then, the Blessed One spoke again to the youth Moonbeam: "Young one, therefore, Bodhisattvas, great beings, who desire this samadhi and wish to quickly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment should not be attached to their bodies and lives. Why is that? Young one, because of attachment to body and life, sentient beings will engage in unwholesome actions. Young one, for those Bodhisattvas, great beings, who are not attached to body and life, attaining unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment is not difficult, let alone this samadhi. Young one, therefore, one should not be attached to body and life. Thus, you should train. In this, it should be said: To this body, always full of pus, The childish ones are extremely attached. For grasping at life and desiring happiness, The unwise constantly commit sins. Those who do not have excessive attachment To body and life, which are without essence, They will destroy the armies of Mara, And awaken to enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Those who are attached to these two, Bodies that are selfless and empty, And life that is like a dream, fleeting like a dewdrop, They will die and go to hell.
