Second, The Chapter on Dharma Victory. Second, The Chapter on Dharma Victory. Then, the Bodhisattva Dharma Victory said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, in a very distant past, beyond seventy-seven Ganges river sands of world realms from here, there was a Tathagata named Great Fame, whose Buddha field was called the Famous World Realm. When I was there, I saw seventy-seven hundred thousand non-Buddhists and their respective teachers, etc., who, starting from contemplating the ultimate nature of dharmas, gathered in a certain place and contemplated, measured, closely examined, and thoroughly sought the ultimate nature of dharmas. However, they did not understand and had different intellects, were doubtful, had poor intellects, and became argumentative and contentious. They oppressed each other with verbal force, slandered, concealed, suppressed, and punished each other, and then dispersed. Seeing them, Blessed One, I thought to myself: Alas, the Tathagatas appear in the world, and because of their appearance, they realize and directly experience such a nature that is completely beyond all speculation. It is truly wonderful and amazing! After saying this, the Blessed One said to the Bodhisattva Dharma Victory: Dharma Victory, it is so, it is so. I have awakened to the ultimate nature that is completely beyond all speculation, and having awakened, I have declared, clarified, distinguished, established, and fully revealed it. Why is that? Because I have said that the ultimate is the individual wisdom of the noble ones, and what can be understood mutually by ordinary people is the domain of speculation. Dharma Victory, therefore, in this way, you should recognize that whatever nature is completely beyond all speculation is the ultimate. Dharma Victory, furthermore, the ultimate is the realm of the signless, I

In the ground explanation, it is said that conceptualization is the domain of signs. Therefore, noble one, for that reason, you should also understand that the nature that completely transcends all conceptualizations is the ultimate truth. Noble one, I have also said that the ultimate truth is inexpressible, while conceptualization is the domain of expression. Therefore, noble one, for that reason, you should also understand that the nature that completely transcends all conceptualizations is the ultimate truth. Noble one, I have also said that the ultimate truth is the complete cessation of all terms, while conceptualization is the domain of terms. Therefore, noble one, for that reason, you should also understand that the nature that completely transcends all conceptualizations is the ultimate truth. Noble one, I have also said that the ultimate truth is the complete cessation of all disputes, while conceptualization is the domain of disputes. Therefore, noble one, for that reason, you should also understand that the nature that completely transcends all conceptualizations is the ultimate truth. Noble one, for example, a person who relies on spicy and bitter tastes for as long as they live cannot experience, speculate, or believe in the taste of honey or sugarcane. One who has long been addicted to desire, tormented by the complete torment of desire, cannot experience, speculate, or believe in the bliss of inner complete solitude, which is separate from all signs of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch. One who has long been addicted to speaking, delighting in speaking, cannot experience, speculate, or believe in the bliss of the inner non-speaking noble one. One who has long been addicted to the terms of seeing, hearing, distinguishing, and knowing, delighting in terms, cannot experience, speculate, or believe in the complete cessation of all terms, the nirvana of the cessation of the assembly of destruction. Noble one, for example, one who has long been zealous for disputes due to clinging to self, delighting in disputes

Naparagava cannot fully grasp the unpleasant sounds of the north as his own, nor can he examine, infer, or believe in the nature of non-contention. Similarly, all speculators cannot examine, infer, or believe in the nature of the ultimate truth that is completely beyond all speculation. Then, the Blessed One spoke these verses at that time: Individual self-awareness is the realm of nature, it is inexpressible and all terminology is completely cut off, the ultimate Dharma is free from contention, that is the nature that transcends all speculation. This is the second chapter, the Chapter on Dharma Increase. Second, the Chapter on Dharma Increase.
