Then, eighty hundred thousand Garlanded Elephant gods, from non-humans to humans and non-humans, also saw the offerings and heard the prophecies, and were satisfied, content, and rejoiced. They were overjoyed and delighted, and with joy in their hearts, they became devoted to the Buddha's teachings and zealous in making offerings to the Bhagavan. They filled the entire vicinity of the great city of Kapilavastu (Serkyi Ne) for sixty yojanas with Mandarava flowers, piled up to their knees. Then, they circumambulated the Bhagavan three times and praised him with verses: Peaceful Lord, with a smiling face, Loving all living beings, Sugata, compassionate one, Lord of the world, lion among men! This retinue, devoted to the Buddha's teachings, As long as it remains here, Will pay homage with their heads to your beautiful and joyful feet. Just as on the night of the full moon, people worship the moon, so too, these hosts of gods gaze upon the face of the Bhagavan. Practicing immeasurable virtue, Possessing immeasurable wisdom, Possessing splendor and immeasurable courage, Supreme wise one, I prostrate to you! Possessing the ten powers and abundant glory, Truly unshakeable, eliminating the three stains, Possessing the eighteen unshared qualities of the Victorious Ones, Without doubt, the supreme speaker! Possessing the thirty-two marks, Endowed with the eighty minor marks, With unsurpassed mastery of the senses, Sugata, I prostrate to you! Perfected in the power of morality, The abode of the power of concentration, unshakeable, Possessing the weapon of the power of wisdom, Victorious One, able to destroy the power of Mara! The supreme power of wisdom has increased, Subduing the stingy Shravakas, Acting with a peaceful mind, Subduing the world, including the gods. Great Man, Lion, Sugata, you, Have attained the Dharma that pacifies ignorance. May we also attain these ten powers of Dharma! Just as you, the Able One, know the thoughts and actions of sentient beings, so too, may we become lamps illuminating the world, benefiting gods, humans, and other beings.

如此为了利益有情，以慈悲之心亲近，救度沉溺于轮回苦海的有情，脱离存在的衰败。祈愿我等与天神一同，成为世间的引导者和殊胜的引导者。救度被百般痛苦所困的有情，脱离存在的因。之后，世尊了知了天神花鬘持牛众的想法，彼时露出了微笑。之后，具寿马胜以偈颂请问世尊：善逝引导者，无因不会露出微笑，十力您露出微笑的因由是什么，请您开示。见到从佛陀口中露出微笑，众生欢喜，眷属都感到疑惑，想听闻微笑的意义。请开示，请开示，引导之尊，露出微笑的重大意义。您是苦行者之王，请您开示，断除疑惑。谁令胜者欢喜？谁令今日殊胜无上？今天谁获得了究竟？善逝，请您消除我的疑惑。今天谁扰乱了魔的住所？谁令一切天界都充满欢喜？胜者能仁请您宣说，迅速消除有情的疑惑。听闻之后，善逝的眷属们，都将无比欢喜。之后，世尊以偈颂再次对具寿马胜开示：花鬘持牛天神的授记，马胜你询问了，因此众多有情的重大意义，今日将实现。不询问十力胜者，殊胜之子菩提不会被授记。为了众多有情的利益，今天你向胜者提问了。花鬘持牛天众，以对我的信心和供养，无数劫之后，战胜烦恼成为胜者。他们从此地去世之后，和谐地生于人间，将以殊胜之花供养无数的胜者。将生起并增长对一切善逝的信心。将以偈颂赞叹自生的人中狮子。

Thus, for the sake of benefiting sentient beings, drawing near with a compassionate heart, rescuing sentient beings drowning in the ocean of samsaric suffering, delivering them from the decline of existence. May we, together with the gods, become the guides and supreme guides of the world. May we liberate sentient beings afflicted by hundreds of sufferings from the cause of existence. Then, the Blessed One, understanding the thoughts of the gods, the garland-bearing bull hosts, smiled at that moment. Then, the venerable Aśvajit addressed the Blessed One in verse: "O Sugata, O Guide, you do not smile without a reason. What is the cause of your smiling, O Ten-Powered One? Please tell us." Seeing the smile from the Victorious One's face, beings rejoiced, and the assembly was filled with doubt, wishing to hear the meaning of the smile. Please explain, please explain, O Supreme Guide, the great meaning of your smiling. You are the king of ascetics, please explain, dispel our doubts. Who has pleased the Victorious One? Who has made today supreme and unsurpassed? Who has attained the ultimate today? O Sugata, dispel my doubts. Who has disturbed the abode of Mara today? Who has filled all the heavens with joy? O Victorious One, O Sage, please prophesy, quickly dispel the doubts of sentient beings. Having heard this, the Sugata's retinue will all be exceedingly joyful. Then, the Blessed One, in verse, spoke again to the venerable Aśvajit: "The prophecy of the garland-bearing bull gods, Aśvajit, you have asked, therefore the great purpose of many beings will be accomplished today. Without asking the Ten-Powered Victorious One, the supreme son, Bodhi, will not be prophesied. For the benefit of many beings, today you have asked the Victorious One. The garland-bearing bull host of gods, through their faith in me and their offerings to me, after countless kalpas, will overcome afflictions and become victorious ones. Having passed away from here, they will be born harmoniously among humans, and will offer supreme flowers to countless victorious ones. They will generate and increase faith in all Sugatas. They will praise the self-born lion among men with verses."

In the future, all of these will cause countless billions of Victors. With flower offerings and verses, they will praise the best of humans. They will worship those Sugatas and praise the body of great power. In the kalpa of great joy, guides will appear in the world. Those with unfading fame, forest dwellers, all eighty thousand of them, will become Sugatas in one kalpa. It will be called "Possessing Flower Banner." In it, there will be no names of hells, animals, or the world of Yama in the lower realms. In that pure land, there will be no Asuras. All unfavorable conditions will be completely destroyed. The enjoyments of the garlanded, mighty gods will be like those of the Thirty-Three. The lifespan of beings will be immeasurable. The sound of negativity will not be heard there. Needless to say, negative actions will not be done. There, the supreme guides will become the Dharma nature of beings. Hundreds of millions of billions of beings, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, will be liberated. The Ten-Powered Ones will also teach the Dharma of non-abiding. The relics of those with unfading fame will also increase. In those relics, many bodies of the Victors will also appear. Those with boundless fame, upon seeing the miraculous bodies of the relics, hundreds of millions of billions of beings will generate the mind of enlightenment. The prophecy spoken by the guides of the garlanded, mighty ones, upon hearing and understanding, all the retinues will then have great joy in their hearts.
